Definitely time to play it man lol.I I feel bad because he goes to college half way across the country and asks me if I played it yet every time I see him... which is only like 2 or 3 times a year. Leaning toward finally jumping in to that one.
The Octopath games are some of the most beautiful games (and art in general) in the history of gaming, imho. And though the gameplay is really fun, really solid, I'm still playing Tactics Ogre (PSP) regularly throughout the year for years and years thus far. Actually just now taking a slight break from PotD....Which is the best: Tactics Ogre, Live a Live or Octopath 2?
I'm playing Octopath 2 now and its pretty great. I can see how some people may find it boring, but the down to earth style of the stories is putting it up there in my top 10 JRPGs ever. Really enjoying it.
I would say as far as game investments go, nothing has given me the returns Tactics Ogre has (except maybe the original DotA on WC3: TFT, which gave me 13 years daily before I finally said a sharp farewell).
Honestly, it holds up, albeit in a janky way. It's refreshing to play an open-world RPG with a smallish map (only one town!), relatively few NPCs, and generally no attempt to hold your hand (especially in the beginning). My first 15 hours or so were pretty tense, but once I got that sword, I started annihilating everything. It feels sort of cheap but at the same time, the game absolutely rewards you for exploring and beating difficult areas early on, and not too many games do that these days.I liked the first Risen, although I can't imagine playing it now. It's maybe a 6 or 7.
I just finished Miles Morales on New Game+. Good fun. 9/10.
I’m still play Octopath 2, I think I did 3rd chapter for all the characters, I absolutely loving this game.
I’m also playing Tower of Doom DLC for Mario + Rabbits 2, also really fun since I liked combat in that game.
Finished Metroid Dread. This game is so good. Top quality stuff and a worthy addition to the Metroid saga. It's 2D perfection much of the likes of Super Metroid. It has all the hall marks of the franchise. Clever level design. Cool boss encounters. Oppressive atmosphere. Fast paced exploration. Power ups. The whole nine yards. I've been on a solid Metroid romp now with Dread and MP remastered and I want MOAR!
No, your equipment is more important than your overall level, with good strategy and good equipment you can go level 40 dungeon even your party is level 20. You also option to ignore all of that and grind level to power through the game….your choice how you want to play the game.Did the game's lack of difficulty affect your enjoyment of it? Thinking of getting it on sale for $30 now on eshop
I just bought Rage 2 after randomly seeing some gameplay. I noticed this game came out a few years ago, but the player mechanics look similar to Atomic Heart. The only thing that shows Atomic Heart came out 3 years later are the graphics. They even have the same mechanic of holding your hand out to gather resources.
I must be late to the party. I dont know how I missed this hidden gem, because its like a mix of Doom, Fallout and Mad Max.... with a little bit of Bioshock. Open world, post apocalyptic FPS with tight controls and fun gameplay. There are some technical issues(made by Bethesda) on the ps5, but its still a fun game.
Capcom eased up his campaign by a lot compared to the Original, where it used to be much harder than the one from Jill.Did two playthroughs with Jill in Resident Evil remake and now I'm onto Chris. I actually haven't played much with Chris campaign, only a few times, so this almost feels like new. It's much more cumbersome and difficult with Chris, given he has less inventory space and it takes a while to get the shotgun. But his story is more fun I think. Excited to play further because I have forgotten so much about this campaign.
Nope, I did as well lol. It's pretty awesome. Very difficult too.I’m the only person alive who opened the NSO GBA app and immediately started Kuru Kuru Kururin. Pretty decent game actually, under the radar, fun and, and short - perfect type of game for the service.
