What game are you currently playing?

Wanted to play through it now for a couple of years and pulled the trigger when it was cheap on Steam. It has a cool premise with a likeable protagonist. Decent sci fi/cyberpunk vibes with the whole memory stealing thing. It also got amazing art direction, taking place in a futuristic Paris, there are a lot of eye candy throughout the game. It looks so good sometimes I have a hard time believing the game was released over a decade ago.
 
Yeah. I was playing some WoW. They have now made the Dragonflight expansion the starting zone for the game so you quickly level up.

I ran over to the blood elf zones because I got nostalgic. The place is abandoned.

I might just boost the level of my character to start the War Within content. Not certain if I am into that Dragonflight stuff.

Played a bit of Quake this morning. Decided to give Arcane Dimensions a go and beat two of it's levels. They are fucking amazing on some of the most fun I've ever have with Quake, can't wait to dive deeper into it.
 
None. I am desperate to get lost in a good game again.

I briefly played ARC Raiders solo but I want to play it in trios; I don't have any gaming friends.

I have COD BO7 but again, playing by myself is lonely and boring.

The majority of games I want to play are multiplayer and I have no one to play with. That makes it complicated and lonely, so I just don't play games.

Everything single player that I'd want to play...I've played.
 
There's definitely a chunk more of single player content on space marine 2 if you count soloing the operations missions. I just checked it out a bit and it might actually be as good a solution as a longer campaign since it adds variety. And it works better for skill-based replay already. This might actually be a great compliment to the campaign. I'm definitely going to play more.

Beautiful artwork and music, compelling characters and story so far.
Love the dialogue.
Marvellous "cosy" atmosphere (I think I chose the right season to play this)
Turn based combat hasn't given up any surprises so far, but it's early days, and even if the strategy turns out to be rather "Meat and potatoes" I'll still be pulled along by the aforementioned story and characters etc.

Combat is pretty good too iirc.

I enjoyed it a lot when it released. The soundtrack is also really really good
 
Outer Worlds 1 - Near the end. Doing the 2nd DLC investigating the murder of Helen Halycon. It's not bad honestly. Reminds me of Knives Out or something. A self contained area with a fun quest line.

Ninja Gaiden 4 - Finished Master Ninja. Finished all the stage achievements, including the dreaded laser dodging one. Got all the chests and gourdies. Now all that's left is about 8 combat trials, and some of them are no joke. You have to really customize your accessories to plan for the unique stage features like draining health, etc.
 
I'm officially done with DQ2 2D-HD including post dungeon and bosses…..for now I'm just waiting for Octopath 0

When it comes to turn based JRPGs we are eating good this year.
 
Condemned Criminal Origins on the Series X.

Just replayed this absolute classic for the first time since release. I was pretty shocked - it plays like a modern title. Seriously, first of all , it looks great blown up on a big 4K TV, no jaggies, butter smooth 30 fps , feels like 60. Stunning.
Then, the actual feel of the game, movement, camera - plays like a title from the last years. Reminded me so much of Resident Evil 7 - Im sure they took inspiration from Condemned.
So yeah, highly recommend this one, terrific atmosphere, levels, doesn't need a remaster at all.

Then immediately started the sequel Bloodshot since I have also a PS3 hooked up.
Played the first level. First objective: follow the bum up the stairs. You know you're in for a treat. Oh man, the combat is massively improved, you can throw weapons now, environmental kills, combos, fight with bare fists etc. Big upgrade over the first game.
The protagonist is the same but he's so changed compared to the first game. Reminds me of the prince from Sands of Time to Warrior Within change.
The bad part is that performance is absolute shit on the PS3 so in 20 minutes I had Xenia running on my PC. 60 fps plays beautifully at 720p. 1440p has awful flickering , it's unplayable. Gonna hook up the PC to the TV and play it this way.
 
Had a bit of downtime this weekend so decided to play Cocoon. Holy shot this game was good, played it in one sitting. 10/10 experience. I know it's not a hidden gem or anything, it had a lot of buzz around it when it released, but if you haven't played it do yourself a favor and do!
 
Decides to start Fallout 4 (Streaming) I can see its going to be a fuckin long game, so I'm taking my time. Going over locations properly etc. enjoying it so far..I'm in the for the long haul.

Yes, very limited in party as well as the size of the world, but I enjoyed it. They did such a good job producing this remake. I've barely touched Dragon Quest ever so starting from the beginning like this, but in an up to date game from a presentation standpoint was a lot of fun.

Cool, i've played through Dragon Quest 7 Remake on the 3DS and a good chunk of DQ4 on the DS both i loved so i have to play DQ5 on the DS sometime.

I'm probably going to rent DQ3 after DQ2. Think someone said it was a prequel. Kind of into the overall story so might as well. I like these arc stories more than others like FF where none of the games have direct connection to each other.
 
About to boot Legacy of Kain Defiance. It's been years since I've played it. Only remember being disappointed of the plot after SR2 was one of my favorite stories ever. Wonder how it holds up.
 
First 6 hours of FF13-2. I don't get why they dropped the larger party, oversimplified the battle system and changed encounters from visible to semi-random. Very weird choices honestly. I'm still early though.
 
for the last two weeks or so I've been putting in more than 100 hours into Escape From Duckov. it's a great extraction shooter without any sweaty PvP players and it provides a very good experience for those who wants to play the genre. at the price they offer, even at full price, it's a great value when considering how much you can get out of it.
 
I started Gungrave GORE on PS5 which apparently I bought on sale but didn't play for some reason, and I'm gonna try some more very early solo questing in ARC Raiders. Please wish me luck or something, maybe...
 
Picked up Marvel Cosmic Invasion. Played 4 or 5 levels so far with the daughter and having a blast. We've already smashed Shredder's Revenge, Streets of Rage 4 and Absolum. So good having all these good beat em ups lately.
 
Decided to play campaign Bad Company 2 and all the Battlefield games after that on a whim. Don't have high hopes but need a break from all the high-octane games I've been playing recently.

I remember playing and finishing it when it came out..game has a really good Soundtrack too.
 
Just started Tomb Raider I Remastered. Don't know what to think of it, yet.
Does anyone have experience with Tomb Raider, has it aged well?
