The PAL version is coming out mid september. Don't know if or when the US version comes out.

Yeah, I kinda like it too. Wish the PEGI logo was always this small coz sometimes it really ruins a great cover..

Nah, it wasn't bad.
It had an interesting approach, a good 3d engine and it was fun cruising around.
It was an utterly bad racing game maybe, but it was somewhat entertaining in other ways

The first game is a technical marvel. Huge levels and still very detailed. If they can make the driving model better they`ll have an exclellent game. I`ll take a sequel to this over 99% of other racers out there.

Yeah, compared to other 'free roaming' games around, the first world racing is actually pretty good technically.
I liked the way you could climb on top of mountains, look behind and still see the roads you were driving on 5 minutes before in the distance.
I liked being able to go anywhere, road or offroad, on beaches, in the middle of tree forests, snowy mountain tops...
I didn't care about the driving/racing aspect of the game, in fact i only cruised around in free roaming mode all the time.
