What have you just bought?

I got paid today and bought Lords of the Fallen on Steam and Breath of Fire IV on GOG.

Breath of Fire IV is the best game in that series. I played it two years ago and I highly recommend you play that as soon as you can

I've actually never played Breath of Fire but I've known about them for decades. This is my first game.

Yeah it's in my Top Ten JRPG Franchises of all time. The only one that was just good was the first game. For me Ranking wise

BOF4
BOF5
BOF3
BOF2
BOF

It's a shame there was never any true Breath of Fire 6, playing as Ryu who can transform into a dragon with modern graphics would have been awesome

Are all the games connected or do they take place in the same world or universe? I always like when games are connected.

Yeah just showed up on GOG today for $10. I figure I'm not going to pass that up. Also, Lords of the Fallen is on sale and I wanted that.

Story wise the first three are connected but the fourth and fifth games aren't connected

But what's a common thing they bring over for each game is that Ryu can turn into a Dragon when you are battling enemies. If they ever make a new Breath of Fire game, I hope they keep the turned based system and make it so that you can find different dragons in the game that are optional. Where you can battle them and as a reward, Ryu can now turn into that dragon you previously fought and get all the abilities etc. BOF 3/4 did a great job with that aspect. Ryu just didn't have one Dragon form, over time he had access to multiple Dragon forms

This series has been consistently fantastic but has fewer games than other JRPG Franchises I have played. But like every older JRPG Franchise, it made sure to differentiate itself from other JRPG IP

Now everything is Action RPG, which I don't mind but for me I feel lot of the recent JRPG Games hasn't been as unique when compared to their previous entries

mexican gloves... damn the quality and leather smell is just amazing... and the pop

Are you sure these aren't counterfeit? The logo is in English.

Just snapped these out of the mail. I need to stop buying double copies of every damn game I buy. I think I am reaching the end of my physical road.

Finished buying all the components for my new PC. Microcenter's great. Only had to buy a couple of the parts elsewhere.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 240 56.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte X870I AORUS PRO ICE Mini ITX AM5 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Flare X5 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
Storage: 990 PRO 4TB Samsung V NAND TLC NAND PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe M.2 Internal SSD
Video Card: XFX Quicksilver Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB Video Card
Case: Cooler Master MasterBox NR200 Mini ITX Desktop Case
Power Supply: Corsair SF1000 (2024) 1000 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply

3-5 are all good. Favorites vary person-to-person. I wrote a little about each at launch.
For 4, the one change I'd recommend is getting rid of the bilinear filter the PC version uses by default which overly smooths out the pixel art on the 3D assets and leaves an ugly black outline around the sprites. Dragnier has a guide on settings, but I haven't played the GOG version outside of a brief boot up. There are apparently GOG DirectX settings or you can use external software like dgVoodoo2.

Which lawnmower?

Definitely on the pricier side. They make a $1,000 one that would be just fine. Was nice to map without any wires and strings and now I can click a button from bed and mow the yard

Air fryer... So far I've just used it to warm up stale bread (proper bread, not sliced). Does a decent job.

I need one, but my land is so uneven there's no way.

Wow, I hope it does a great job for you, looks great, but sadly over my budget 😂

My mail in personal item came back, went through signet for peter weller auto. I dont know how I feel about the date inscription, but I guess thats what Mr Weller is doing now. I can erase it with deco paint eraser but I will keep.

Micro VBar RX-Only, 6 channel receiver, so I can fly omp m1 with mikado transmitter. Literally hate Mikado for this, $85 + $1400 for the tramistter so I can fly a $200 helicopter? lol Okay I guess. They are lucky they have a nice flybarless system, which is another story $370 for hardware+license. They literally sell hardware that comes with full capability but will disable it with software. $140 receiver can have its gyros enabled with software for another $200 or so. Gotta love Germany. <3

Bambu Labs P1S 3D Printer. Last printer I had was ender 3 with marlin firmware i hackedd in with a arduino. I now have a small available closet that I will put this in there, and heat up for abs and nylon prints. Temperature controlled. I will likely end up buying the AMS system which attaches to this printer, and is another $300 to $400 dollars, but $800 was my limit. I cant wait to get into it, I will only print using exotic materials. PLA is trash, I had made a full cain helmet 1:1 from robocop 2 and I left it under the sun one day in my car in Southern California and the whole thing melted and warped. This things a beast as it has welded steel chassis.

Was time for an upgrade. My old GBASP is starting to pixel fade around the edges as you can see in the comparison pic.
Link cable was also a new purchase to finally experience pokémon at its fullest! Thankfully I already had the games. $_$
Modern screen, improved battery, new casing/buttons on an original motherboard and came with a 1-year warranty.
Had to go with the Original NES design for retro goodness.

I remember clock tower on the ps1, nobody really bought it but me and my brother did. I cant believe how much they are selling for now.

I would buy one but I'm afraid someone driving by will just pick it up and take it with them 😂

I finally pulled the trigger on something I have been wanting to add to my collection for years. The very first SNES game I ever bought, and I stupidly sold my copy back in the day for £5 at a car boot sale in Dorset.

Seller refused my offer like 5 times, took almost 3 days of negotiation to agree a price + then he refuses to post it, so another 4 hours of negotiating over the phone tonight he agreed to a final price with priority shipping with the condition of me buying a bunch of other random shitty games from him that I will jsut resell.

Fuzzy fucking pickles my guys. I think other than my house this is the most expensive thing I have ever bought, but the sentimental value for me is worth it. Also think it will be a good long term investment tbh. It looks to be in 'OK' condition, but to be honest, I don't have VGA graded money and it looks good enough for me.

For like 20 years I've searched ebay now and then for my childhood plush Bunny. 38 years later they've been reunited.

Chuckle Bunny and "Clean Chuckle"

Mine lost his whiskers so long ago I don't even remember him having them.

I paid $80 for it (yeah) but I never would've forgiven myself if I hadn't.

It can't be that bad, right?

*checks pricecharting*

holy shit

sadly, yes. I'm ashamed of paying what I did honestly, but I don't spend a lot of money and this game means a lot to me to have in the collection, so I decided to punt an offer and it was eventually accepted.

Value in the eye of the beholder and all that.. lol. Game should arrive in a day or two.

Enjoy! Looks like a copy in good condition. I re-acquired my copy in 2011 (cartridge and guide only, no box), as the game means a lot to me also so I totally understand.

Could not resist. Comes with the life size version with purchase, if you want to do that sort of thing. I might do 1:1 head :) I also ended up getting the cain model from robocop 2, obviously.

Wait what

Converting half of my plugs to 240V. Now you're playing with super power. TM

Other items in my Amazon delivery. Dry-wet vac plus fan cause I had a 4th water leak recently. Additional batteries and charging station cause I hate to stop mowing and wait to recharge. And a ramen ustensils kit cause I do ramen instead of raw men now.

The Polymaker filament dryer is legit. One of the best purchases I've made. It has made printing in TPU a breeze.
