I was going to buy an upright earlier this year, but my teacher dissuaded me. She said every single student that bought one eventually wanted to upgrade to a grand piano.
And after visiting a piano shop and trying a few of both I decided to keep saving money and, hopefully, get a 2m restored grand piano in the end of next year.
