What is factor 5 doing?

There website has a ton of Jobs available on it.

The only new game listed on there website is Thornado (which was a N64 game I think) which we haven’t herd boo out of!

WHAT IS GOING ON?

Rogue Leader 2 is my favorite GC game this gen!

I need RL4 on the revolution! It’s exciting to think about a 5+ Star destroyer battle with large fleets of ships battling it out across all 6 movies with all major battles and side/linking events.

Oh yeah and no foot or on ground vehicle missions!

Early in 2004 Factor 5 started work on next-generation home and handheld systems, including tools to support Microsoft´s XNA initiative. At some point they worked on Pilotwings GC, it's "on hold", I don't know what happened to Thornado.

Wouldn't surprise me if they're gearing up for multi-platform development. Then again supporting XNA would be no different from their ports of MusyX, and DivX for consoles etc.

There were rumblings about Pilotwings a while back... I'd like to see that come to fruition.

I hear Factor 5 is trying to figure out what good gameplay is. So far, much like Id, no luck, but their games sure do look nice.

Ya they really have been quiet this whole generation of consoles. They basically skipped it except a game or two.

Hopefully Thornado for PSP. :)

I think Pilotwings GC was moved to Revoltuion and Factor 5 removed from the project. Hopefully NCL found a suitable team to replace them.

What about all huge amount of new job openings?

Did people walk out or are they just expanding?

I just wished they took all this time to make Rogue Leader 3 on foot missions good rather then stuff around.

Making a beautiful game with flawed gameplay and terrible cutscene animation.

Meh every game I have played has some level of flawed gameplay.

What do people have against there games?

The only problems I have are

1. Larger Turning circles needed for space craft.
2. Those on foot missions in RS3 do absolutely nothing right.

I thoght it was a given they were working in some next gen stuff (and I was convinced about the Pilotwings for Revolution gossip).

When I missed the gossips of them going for PSP?

You need serious help man.

Well RE4 hasn’t launched in PAL territories yet, but it’s the truth so far I just find the game insanely repayable. Gold Medal hunting is great fun as is reliving the classic moments from the Starwars trilogy.

PSP. They apparently think they can match or exceed GC visuals on PSP - no joke.
Well, they share the same amount of main RAM for game data... but that's about it. :/

I think you're misinterpreting Julian's comments though, I actually remember him saying they think it'd be easier to get their GC games up and running on PSP versus PS2. Maybe we'll get Rebel X after all... on PSP?

I would love to see it, would be fantastic (in fact, for what we are looking for firts PSP games, it doesn´t sound too crazy at all).

However, it´s a shame if they don´t manage Pilotwings for Revolution, they could do an graphically impressive game (and would be pretty nice to drive a delta wing moving your hands ;))

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Rogue Squadron on PSP...And a Xenon project. It's my suspicion, that Factor 5 designed the engine, that Pilotwings for the Revolution will run on.

I cannot friggin wait for Pilotwings Revolution. the original SNES came made me buy a Nintendo for the first time :lol
