Your thread got deleted because it was completely and utterly pointless, unlike this one.
The old thread was asking people to explain the context and backstory of a webcomic to you, when all you had to do is read the readily available archive. You also demanded that people explain the "funny" in the strip, which, as previously mentioned, is absolutely subjective in nature. There were obviously no underlying or hidden tones featured within the strip, so the thread was completely worthless, nothing but rebelling flamebait.
This thread poses a more general question which can be CORRECTLY applied to many facets of different genres of entertainment, and thus the seed for a healthy and interesting discussion can actually be planted. I have nothing against criticizing webcomics or anything else, as I myself think that a fuckload of them fucking suck (MEGATOKYO), and I realize that each one is so subjective in style that a lot of people aren't going to like them. Your old thread was going no where from the second you posted it, whereas this one actually has a point.
But no, as Fresh Prince so intelligently interjected, I must not want anyone to have opinions.
