As a listener to Air America... I gotta say that about 85% of what they say is more or less true... unlike Rush who pulls things out of his ass. I am curious to see how they will handle thing is Kerry wins.. as at the moment Bush Bashing is their primary topic.

in small snippets rush is very boring.. but i think if you were a regular listener over long periods of time, you'd find him very funny and entertaining.. kinda like how howard stern in small snippets is very boring, or mancow... but if you listen to mancow for like 2-3 hours in the morning, or stern for his entire show, its hilarious in their whole.

Rush Limbaugh is pure propaganda, the likes of which make Micheal Moore seem like a newb. Not only was he a driving force of the far-right-wing(christian coalition, etc) takeover of the GOP, he's also been shown in controlled studies to have an influence on listeners... even those who hate him. Why? Well, on logical arguments Limbaugh falls flat. Facts are not his forte and in fact most of the time he's talking out of his ass, as demonstrated by the long long list of factual errors and misstatements in his program history. Where he has power is base emotional appears, where he will juxtapose values over one another. BTW, Limbaugh also provides occasional service to the extreme right wing (talking militia and neonazi types here) by transmitting their BS into the near mainstream.
