What is the biggest fail of the generation

Idk, I think millennials are pretty alright, overall. Preceding generations kept us honest, since it was basically recreation to criticize the shit out of us at every opportunity.

We were the first young generation to have high-speed internet, smartphones, and social media thrown at us during our developing years. And a lot of us graduated college under crippling debt, into the worst recession in decades. I'd argue we've handled it about as well as could be expected. Some of us are predictably self-absorbed.

We're far from perfect, but we have way better social skills than the weirdos coming up after us.

biggest millenial fail of our generation?

*snicker* some of them decided to think like their crotchety ass grandparents instead of residents of the future

The Fat-Ass States of America is the biggest failure. We're headed for bad times if we can't transition peacefully to an economy that does not require world domination now that China won't let us always have our way.

And even i am moderately surprised
after returning to Plague Island after 20 years away - watching haunted coathanger Rees-Mogg and Mr Blobby sans suit Boris "not my real name because northerns wouldn't vote if they knew my real name" Johnson bluff and fudge EVERYTHING about every detail - make Brexit cornerstone "FISH!" then -royally shag- fishing ...

it's Brexit.

happy to destroy any flagshaggers who think it isn't - even YOUR FOLK are bailing - The people who told you everything has to be british : no more french cheese, no more imported wine, no more dealing with the EU - ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO TOLD YOU THIS - have set up schemes and mechanisms to AVOID the disaster they have made.

"bu bu bu we can control our borders" - FRANCE shut thiers in 24 hours AS PART OF THE EU. No one batted an eyelid. 24 hours. You've had 4 FUCKING YEARS. We have issues with Covid - we need to close our borders - and we STILL CANT DO IT. Vote for clowns, wear the shoes.

Hard to say. In the end it's just trying out things, and seeing if it works or not.

As a movie buff, I'd say its this weird infatuation with woke for the sake of woke, and "subverting expectations". No one ever wants to see his/her expectations subverted. It worked great for one movie called "sixth sense" from more than twenty years ago and that's it.

Humans love to see stuff they wanted and expected to play out exactly like they imagined it in before.

Brexit and young people being offended by stuff that happened 30+ years ago.

Throw in "cancel culture" too.

If there’s a fail thread there’ll be a success thread how bout unemployment, legalization, George Floyd, election fraud etc. in the last 12 months there’s been failure. Failure bulldozes its way into every year, every generation.

Susceptibility to misinformation. FWIW, would have happened to whatever generation coincided with the internet, but the amount of dumbasses out there who eat up conspiracy theories, QAnon bullshit, etc. is disturbing.

The poor grammar from everyones mouths/fingers by overuse/incorrect use of 'fail' and 'literally'

Yes, seriously. So many people sound like Neanderthals as a result.

Sad but true. To be fair, it's only a certain kind of community causing problems.
Very religious, very conservative, uneducated and incompatible with values of European society.
