It won't send what is in my Outbox. There are 5 messages there and when I hit Send/Receive, they stay in there.

Usually my mail sends itself but for some reason this mail is not moving.

It doesn't come up with an error message, it just doesn't send them? I dunno, check your SMTP settings. Maybe something got changed. Still, it's odd that you wouldn't get an error message.

Maybe your antivirus is interfering?

Occasionally I've had it where norton was scanning my outgoing email (at work) and must have crashed or something, cause it was stuck there. So I had to delete the email from outbox and send it again.

no large messages - I'm sending shipment notices to ebayers. maybe 4, 5k?

The server is up, I'm receiving fine (I sent a test message EDIT: from gmail)

no error message at all. I hit Send/Receive, it does it's sending/receiving thing and the messages stay in the outbox.

I went to Office Help, and it said "the service is temporarily down". so, huh. :/

antivirus - I hope not.

bah, I opened each individual email and clicked "send" in the message like that. it worked, for whatever reason. The Gods of Microsoft smiled upon me, I dunno.
