I am currently using an M4 Macbook Air and I love it. I bought it mostly to edit videos and stuff but it plays WoW and Total War Shogun 2 with no trouble.

Custom desktop PC build: 5800X, 4070 Super, 32GB of RAM.

Also have a laptop, dunno the CPU and the GPU is a GTX 1060, but I barely use it nowadays. Oh, and a Steam Deck if that counts lol.

Finally I also have Macbook Pro but it's for work and it's owned by the company. Runs nicely, and the trackpad is the best I've ever used.

Mac mini M4, base model. Paid $500 for it in December when it became clear that waiting for the next chip revision would be unwise given hardware costs lately. It was already an amazing value when it debuted at $600, even more so now. Apple hasn't updated the Apple TV in awhile so I pretty much replaced it with the mini for the living room. Works amazing as a HTPC.

Asus Zenbook S14 (2025).

Decent battery performance and has a very nice 120hz OLED screen with 16:10 aspect ratio.

Build quality also a step up over previous laptops due to using a new material.

M1 Mac Mini connected to my TV. Pebble mouse and keyboard. First Apple computer I've owned, will never ever go back to Windows. Primarily used for managing my music library, and photos.

Thinkpad T14 gen 3
iPad Pro M1

Though if W12 becomes horribly AI-infested then I might go full Apple next time (except for phone). Linux is just too much of a hassle to me to have as my main computer OS.

Intel Core i7 12900K
32 GB RAM
RTX 5090
30" 4K monitor

Plus an iPad Pro M1 (love it for media consumption in bed) and an Apple Mac Studio M1 Max (hardly being used)

Custom build.
9800X3D
RTX 5080
32GB pure gold
24" 1440p monitor

(We nearly had a tornado the other night. I took my tower down into the basement with me)

MacBook Pro 16" M2 Max w 64gb and 2TB SSD

It's such a beast for work.

MacBook Air M2

I was actually going to upgrade to an M4 and most comparison reviews said it wasn't worth it, so I kept it. I'll upgrade to M6.

My daily driver is currently the M4 Pro MacBook Pro handing off to M5 iPad Pro.

When I need Windows it's my Lenovo P14S, unless I'm doing local AI stuff then it's my Ryzen 9 desktop with the 4070 Ti Super.

AMD 9700X
5080
32 GB RAM
34" LG Nano IPS 3440x1440 monitor (was nearly $1,000 before OLEDs took over everything, but I got it brand new last fall for $200).

I'm actually quite surprised how powerful the MacBook M3 is. I can play relatively newer games on Steam.

My main rig is AMD build: Ryzen 9 5950X CPU, Radeon RX 6800XT, and 32 GB DDR5 RAM.

new desktop I put together last year. was lucky to get all the parts before the price hike.

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
64GB DDR5 RAM
RTX5090FE
1TB and 4TB M.2 NVMe
Samsung 49" OLED Odyssey G9 (was using the LED Odyssey of the same size before but was able to pick up an refurbished OLED of the same size for a decent price).

it was mainly due to a chance to grab the 5090FE at MSRP that kinda put me on the path of building this. otherwise I probably won't be putting a new machine together for a while.

I never thought I'd be typing this, but I'm considering switching to a Mac.

I have a fancy two screen Windows laptop. The two screens are great, but the battery life (even using only one screen) is poor. Then there's the random stuttering. It'll be fine for a few days, then suddenly become a lag fest.

Then there's the folder Windows refuses to add any new files to. If you call it something else, it's fine, just that one set of characters.

OneDrive is a mess integration wise. Files will be saved online only by default despite that not being enabled. Disabling OneDrive is the only way to prevent this.

And then the rare but random wake from sleep and failure to return to it. Opening a bag to find a hot, dead laptop is a joy.

Main is MacBook Pro M4. It's a beast and by far the best computer I have used.

Gaming PC is Ryzen 7 9700X, RTX 5070, 32GB RAM and plays games well. I have the same work PC except the 5070 is replaced with a RX 580. It's trash honestly and only using it for 3 pieces of software or I would be using my MacBook. Coworker emulates it on his and other than one small bug he's loving it.
