Mine is easily Sam Hydes', its so funny and he just trolls the entire audience because they have no idea who he is.

"He recently returned from Mogadishu; the most dangerous city on Earth. Where he shadowed the heroic Al Mahmoud women on their quest to clean up the streets and restore humanity to their war-torn country".
-Sam Hyde on Sam Hyde

"And that proves that sometimes great ideas are actually horrible ideas."

I appreciate your interests in sharing this. I never got into TEDTalks or TEDx due to the strong liberal poll on the show. Some have even quoted that TED material is supposed to be used to open the minds of conservatives. Sorry, mate...just can't get into that kinda thing. I'm a dinosaur, I like old programming anyway ;)

Will do, it won't hurt. I watched the one with Dylan Klebold's mother speaking about her son prior to the Columbine Massacre and how it destroyed her marriage and public life. She's the only parent of either one of the Columbine Massacre perpetrators to speak publicly about the incidents that I'm aware of. It caused a big stir when she did speak up, too. People felt that she wasn't allowed to tell people that she didn't know how bad her son's problems were and it was insensitive to the victims parents. I never really got that and think you learn a bit from hearing her talk about it.

Reminds me of this video/call from the sandy hook school shooter... He was telling a story about how a 'domesticated' ape "snapped" killed with NO warning signs. Pretty insightful look into the mind of one of these psychotics.

Give it a watch if you haven't seen the video.

Had no clue this existed. I knew about Sue Klebold because I researched a lot about the Columbine Massacre in 2008 for a college assignment. I think the theme for us to pick a topic was "tragic events of the 20th-century." I was surprised when this TED came out because after those years prior researching the massacre, the most we ever got from one of the parents was when Eric Harris' Dad called into dispatch saying his son " might be" one of the shooters.

this was rec'd to me today on youtube, has some interesting ideas

Good message, we need more people telling us how to come together. I disagree with some of her "more likely" situations but she is on a good track. Pretty comprehensive centrist view.

Its Jocko... What can ya say. Dude is a hero, and fountian of useful information. He looked really emotional at the beginning. Friendly fire must be absolute hell on earth.

Just watched one with Rodney Mullen that was pretty cool, he seems like a really nice guy.

Yeah that one, I think a lot of people are watching skate videos on Youtube recently wtf lol. My buddy came over last week and we had both been watching skate stuff which is not exactly the norm for us, I was getting suggestions in my feed from the Tony Hawk content I was watching leading up to the launch of that game I think.

Nice!

Yeah, I spend a lot of time watching skate videos on YouTube, classics like Baker parts and I’m subscribed to some cool channels that upload like every day (Ben Degros, Braille, etc). I need to the new THPS remake for sure. Not going to lie, TikTok is a great platform for watching the sickest skateboard clips lol. Daewon Song posts a lot of cool stuff on there.

I really like that Johnny Giger (?) guy's channel. He does the "Impossible Tricks of Rodney Mullen" series, it's just cool to see him tackle a trick from square one and persevere until he nails it. Lots of cool random mini skate docs on YT too.

There was a really good one about how the world is gonna end if we don’t do something about it. Can’t remember who it was though.
