What is your next gaming purchase?

This, for me, is the best time of system lifecycles. With the impending release of both the PS3 and Rev, you start to see alot of those hard to find games showing up because people begin to use them as trade-in fodder for the new systems. Luckily, I'm on good terms with the local EB manager, so he holds alot of the good stuff and gives me first crack at it after himself. :lol

I don't really know what I'm going to be picking up though. Here's some stuff I'm thinking about:

MGS3:S SE (PS2) - still not 100% sure on this one. I'm not a huge fan of the series, but I do like it. I guess I would use it for the online aspect mostly, but since I'm not a diehard, I might just pass on it.

Super Princess Peach (DS) - was ready to get this, then I heard the May release date for NewSMB, and I'm thinking that I'll just wait and pick it up on the cheap. Some of the opinions in the japanese thread swayed me to this position.

24: The Game (PS2) - I just don't think it'll be worth the full asking price. Rental first, buy when it hits bargain bins. Sorry Jack.

GRAW (X360) - okay, I'm excited about this, but I have no Xbox Live. I really want Live, but I don't have the $$$ to purchase both. I might have to wait until I can afford both.

Battlefield 2 (X360) - same as above.

Fight Night Round 3 (X360) - I want, want, want this. But again, no Live to really enjoy it.

Metroid Prime Hunters (DS) - I'm just not feeling it, and I'm the resident Metroid whore. I don't like the new characters, and it doesn't really look/feel like a Metroid game. I'll most likely still buy it, just to have in my Metroid collection, but might do so on the cheap.

Tetris DS - Buying it, no questions asked.

Zelda: Twilight Princess (GCN) - most awaited game since last year. I'll be there the day before day one for this game.

New Super Mario Bros. DS - Do you even need to ask?

Gears of War (X360) - Cliffy B. gets my support. It's going to be amazing.

Damn, there's too much good stuff coming out...

Super Princess Peach - I want more platformers now that I've played Drill Dozer.

Pokemon Trozei - Just because it exists. And I may not trust Genius Sonority about much (they're extremely lucky that the Pokemon battle system is so brilliant that it's unbreakably foolproof), but they haven't failed yet as far as soundtracks go.

Tales of Phantasia - I liked Tales of Symphonia.

Metroid Prime Hunters - I'm not nearly as much a fan of the FPS genre as some, so I'll be getting this for single-player.

Tetris DS - Looks like it'll be unmissable.

Brain Age - I want to know what the hype is about. And besides, it's $20.

Big Brain Academy - See above.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga - Apparently in spring it's getting a $20 Player's Choice re-release. Which is about how much it's worth, to me.

Super Mario Bros. 2 - See above.

Yoshi's Island - See above, except this one's actually worth $30.

MGS3 Subsistence is on preorder (LIMITED EDITION FTW). For the sexy 360 GRAW and Oblivion will be mine.

With all these games coming out, I may wait till May to get Metroid Prime Hunters. When I can pick up the DS Lite with it.
 
I just pre ordered MLB2k6 for the XBox 360 yesterday. God am I ever pumped for the upcoming MLB season. But thats got an April 10th release date so for now the next thing coming before that I'll be picking up would be Oblivion,for sure. I may also buy the Outfit but I'm waiting on the demo to see if I get any great vibes from the game or not. I really don't know why,can't explain it..but when I see the OutFit I think of Armed and Dangerous,a game I loved alot. I know its not the same type of game but I can't shake that feeling.
 
Still need to figure out what to get by next week at Best Buy. Could be Drakengard 2, could be something else. It would be kind of sad if that was the best choice I had. Shadow Hearts: From the New World and Metal Saga will be next after that.
 
Bleach DS was supposed to arrive ages ago. I guess that's next. I've got Viewtiful Joe DS pre-ordered (UK release), and a DS Lite ordered. So whichever one comes first.
 
Right now I have a giant backlog of games to work through, so I'm going to hold off on buying games for a while. Aside from Mother 3, of course--that'll be a must-purchase when (if?) it comes to NA.

I have a feeling that Tetris will take up most of my time and render the other games obsolete. That lot should keep me busy until the new Mario arrives. :)

you still can't get a copy of Bleach DS? Damn, if you can't get a copy, I could probably score a copy for you from my local import store, and you could pay me over paypal.

I don't know. The 360? Final Fantasy XII? I'm in no hurry, I'm in reading mode for a bit, and I have a few older games (Final Fantasies V through IX, Baldur's Gate I and II) I need to get through before I think about buying something else. Between novels, the aforementioned backlog, the urge to replay games like KOTOR, Jade Empire, God of War, and Halo 2 (single and multi), the industry can take a hike for a bit.
 
MGS: Subsistence LE and Tetris DS for sure.

Age of Empires DS maybe, and Onimusha DoD whenever I'm "done" with DMC3: SE (might not be for a while).
 
Depends on how soon I finish Dynasty Warriors 5: Xtreme Legends and Gran Turismo 4, and what's actually released by then. Upcoming stuff in order of interest:
