What is your preferred, most breathable face mask?

My wife has been telling me it's time to replace my current face mask. It's not the worst fabric or design, but it leaves a lot to be desired when worn with glasses – the glasses fog badly. So, I'd like GAF's recommendations for comfortable, breathable masks that prevent (or greatly mitigate) the fogging issue. I'm not real concerned about protection here; short of bedazzled fishnet I'm good with any material.

I just use a handkerchief most of the time when I'm in public. For work/professional times, I have masks my company provided.

this is the state of the art right here

My mum has that problem and she she needs to wear glasses she got permission to wear a faceguard instead of a mask. You could probably also cut a thin bit of foam to go over the bridge of your nose and between the mask to prevent fogging as well.

There are sprays you can use on glasses to prevent fogging. Same stuff like you can buy for car mirrors.

I was using cheap cloth masks up until a few days ago, but now here in Germany you need to use FFP2/N95 masks while you're in stores (the stores that aren't in mandated lockdown, anyway) and public transport. I bought a pack of ten of those, and got another five from work. We need to wear them at work now, too. Like these:

When people were using cloth masks, infections didn't really drop at all, so I'm not gonna use those anymore either.

I've been mostly using some sports masks from Reebok. Adidas makes some very similar ones--I prefer their logo etc., they were just backordered when I bought mine in late spring. Pretty comfortable and breathable enough for me to be fine using when lifting at my gym that requires masks at all times (and has a host of other safety protocols and distancing in place). Been happy with them since June when I started going back to the gym and mostly wear them when popping in the grocery store or whatever as well.

Where i work you can't use cloth masks, you can wear only proper masks that they give to you before entering in the building...
You know..can be for safeting or becouse they can point the finger on a worker if happen something ( i think you can risk also the payments if you get the covid and they discover that you not wear a proper mask)

Yeah, our biggest client operates nursing homes all over the place, and sometimes I have to go there. They don't let you use your own mask. You have to take a disposable mask out of a box, disinfect your hands, fill out a form with your personal details, and then finally before they let you in they use one of those infrared thermometers on your head. I do understand it, though. Nursing homes are where most deaths are occuring, my colleague just lost his grandpa who lived in a nursing home and got infected there as well.

FFP2 when taking public transportation because about 1/3 of people are too dumb to wear a mask correctly. Standard surgical mask at work and everywhere else but home for almost a year now.
I wash my batch of masks weekly at 60° and it's been good so far since it's mostly made of cloth and plastic. No waste, no need to buy more masks, and they smell nicer too.

I bought a box from Costco, but where I go they typically make me swap them out. I’m going to health care facilities. Some I have to put on a face guard on top of my mask. Otherwise the url I posted is what my family uses.

I wouldn’t know. Nobody wears masks in my state.

Sounds like a state I want to move to.

I wear the same mask that I've had tossed on my car seat for months. I guess that's my most preferable because it's the only one I have. It's cloth. Sometimes I have to pick it up off the floor of the car though. Seems to meet the requirements to get in stores. Sometimes I even wear it correctly.

We’re currently the envy of all Australia.

i just use the basic surgical mask. i bought another mask but it sucks. there is a big gap at my nose unlike the surgical ones which have the little piece of metal insider that helps keep the shape around your nose. my glasses steam up too much with the mask i bought.
