I will be getting GTA:SA and Halo2 on release days and I will see how those both go. My wife always gets me a couple of games for Christmas so I will wait and see what I get then. ANd I have to fit Half-Life 2 in too.
But If I was out buying the games and I had the time to play them (Halo2 and GTA will take a lot of my time I'm sure)

Open issues
Which one of the above will be my Xmas holiday game? Each year I have one game dedicated for the peaceful Christmas week, a long with a good load of candy, leftovers and soda. Earlier holiday games include Paper Mario and Silent Hill 2. This years likely candidates are Pikmin 2 and Paper Mario 2. Another issue is finding money to buy all the above.
