I didn't really know how to put a title without sounding confusing but this thread is about what next gen game will be your first next gen game. As in your very first next gen time.

Most of you are going with some X360 game for your first next gen time but I've been thinking about what game should be my first next gen game since I believe you should start the next generation with a bang definetely to make a really big immpression on you.

For example, my first current gen game was Morrowind and Im very proud about that as I feel its one of the most defining games of this generation.

Now next gen is approaching and Im waiting for the right one, y'know to make the first time special

This are my candidates:

-Silent Hill 5: (Rumored PS3) My favorite gaming series of all time and it belongs to my favorite genre so why not go into the next gen bed with SH5. I mean next gen survival horror FTW!

Oblivion (X360, PC): It would be pretty logical that my first next gen game should be the sequel to my first current gen game.

Final Fantasy XIII: (PS3): MY favorite RPG series and my second favorite series of all time. I can't imagine how epic this one should be sadly given FFXII history of delays I cant imagine this one until, at the very very earliest Late 2007 in Japan...

Project Gotham Racing 3. I love the series, and this game just looks stunning. I want to be blown away the first time I fire up my 360, and this looks like the best bet.

If you consider the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP as belonging to the new generation (as I do), then I'd have to go with Wipeout Pure, Lumines, and Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix as my first games of the new generation.

although I played the COD2 demo on a pod, my first 'proper' next-gen game will be PGR3.
