I am thinking EA are keeping this under wraps for the shock factor ..

hmm .. or maybe wishful thinking, but the production values of the ssx series has always been top notch, adn would be great to see it take advantage of the blu-ray format ... would be a stand out launch title for sure. ssx was my launch day purchase back with ps2.

any rumors or info to this effect out there?

SSX was the reason I bought a launch PS2, I cant wait to see what it will look like on PS3.

Well, if PS3 launches in 2006, a new SSX would be way too soon, unless it's a totally revamped SSX On Tour.
