What system do you own, but neglect?

Switch.
I've had it since launch but for the most part I've only used it to play 1-2 games a year.
I'm only into some Nintendo games, and all third party stuff just plays substantially better on any other platform I own, except for a few undemanding games with 2D graphics where the difference is neglectable

I tend to sell every device I don't use often, so up until recently, my Steam Deck, now sold.

Now it's like 50/50 between my Switch 2 and PS5, my Switch 1 is being used as a multiplayer home console (to do stuff like Just Dance or Let's Sing)

Had the switch light for 2 month and sold it.I grew up gaming on gameboy alot and maybe it was nostalgia but the switch lite was a terrible experience overall, only liked it for games like Ace attourney and stuff like coffe talk. Playing the zelda remake on it was good but Astral Chain for example made my eyes hurt. Also the thumbsticks are not made for grown up hands...

Only have ps5 and ps4pro (with new ssd drive) currently..well and a imac m3 but thats not for gaming.

Switch.
I turned it on recently to buy Silk Worm and Golvellius 2 as these games are not available on Xbox, but other than that it has been sitting in the closet for seven years straight.

Xbox Series X..... what an expensive dust collector
Yeah, at launch I loved it, but about a week later the PS5 came out and then it became a Gamepass machine, which was cool until my backlog of games I bought on other platform grew and I didn't play many games on that. My most played games on XSX have been back compat GTAIV, Fight Night and Skate, occasionally I think about booting it up again for those, but haven't done so.

I've barely used my PS Vita, wouldn't mind getting some recommendations beyond the usual PS2 ports and Vanillaware games.

It's hardly obscure but I think LittleBigPlanet Vita is one of the better handheld games ever released, at least for dedicated handhelds (pre-Switch, basically). Of course, this opinion comes from back when it was active and there was lots of community levels / games being created and uploaded -- I don't think you can even access those at all anymore, just the single player.

As for my neglected platforms, since Switch 2 released it would be everything else I own (PS5, Steam Deck, Series S). Prior to that I was pretty balanced (except for the Series S, I don't think I've played a game on it since Psychonauts 2. Keep it around for the kids).

More recently i havent really messed with my Steam Deck. I originally bought the 64GB version and its almost completely filled. I bought a 1Tb SSD for it but just haven't felt like messing with installing it

PS5 has seen the biggest drop-off for me:
  1. Less first-party games have come out that interest me vs. previous gens.
  2. Key friends as they got older didn't want to buy multiple devices so they went PC, and if anything else usually a handheld (Switch or Steam Deck)
  3. I got a NAS, so I burned my entire DVD/Blu-ray collection to digital files, and use Jellyfin to stream them instead of needing to put discs in a player.
  4. Playing more indie games, which either aren't available on PS5, or get ported later.
  5. I'm going back to play older games I missed, and emulation tools are just more mature on PC + I can sync saves with my Steam Deck. (PS5 does have Wipeout collection though)

PC. I own a bunch of Steam games that I've gotten for free or during a super deep discount. I've just never been a fan of playing games using a keyboard because of how unnatural it feels compared to an analog stick. I also don't like sitting at a desk to play or trying to find ways to connect the games to the TV so that I can potentially use a controller. I do have a Steam Deck, so maybe I'll eventually try to finish some games on there.

At this point, it's definitely my Switch. The last few years it's been little more than a Splatoon and Switch Sports machine (with the occasional retro SNES or NES app play), and lately it's just been collecting dust. It's why I'm not in any rush to get a Switch 2.

I haven't touch my Ps2 and Ps3 for a long time. My brother is always playing BF3 and BF4 multiplayer mode on Ps4 pro regularly. Ps5 wasn't touch for a while after I completed Stellar blade, GT7 and Silent hill 2 remake, but I'm back playing Ps5 because of Death stranding 2.

Ps5 is my least played.

I'll buy a first party exclusive only if I'm hyped for it and don't want to wait for pc version.

The last exclusive game I bought for it was GOW ragnarok.
Last non exclusive was elden ring nightreign but that doesn't really count as I bought it on every platform but mainly play on PC.

I own a PS5, Switch and ROG Ally X. I try to devote time to each Console but in recent years I found myself enjoying portable play more. Or hybrid play if you will. I've built a desk setup where I have Switch and PC connected to a monitor but I've also made sure I can move them over to my tv when I want to lay on the couch. PS5 ain't that portable so sometimes I neglect it due to the convenience of Switch and ROG Ally. But I love my PS5 too so I make sure it gets some love too from time to time. So in the end I'd say it's an even split between the three.

Xbox, I was occasionally playing Rocket League on it but have stopped playing that. I haven't played a single player game on it in years and It's probably been about 5 years since I last bought a game for it, maybe even longer as I did have gamepass at one point.

I have no interest in Xbox anymore, only have it hooked still for whenever I tackle my backlog.

I just play on PS5 and Switch 2 now.

PiEs Fayfu.

Since every game coming to PC, I don't even boot it up. No, wait, in order to update the firmware I opened it up 2-3 months ago after 1 year. Maybe I should boot it nowadays to try Dave the Diver on PSN+. Everybody praises the game relentlessly.

I bought one of those Taito Evercade Super Pockets as something to throw in the bag for trips -- it has a cart slot and I keep meaning to pick up some additional games for it, but never get round to it. Am I missing out, Evercade-enjoyers?

Switch lite that's basically just a Diablo 3 machine when the itch is there. Also just to have something occasionally when able to play on the road.

My quest 3, it's just sitting in my work out room. Everytime I leave for work in the morning I'll glance over at it and think to myself " I'll do a round of boxing when I get home".

I had an excellent first two months with it but recently I've just been busy playing games on gamepass.

After I'm done with gamepass I think I'll get it setup with my racing rig and hopefully it'll enjoy a resurgence in play time.

All of my systems right now. I have a huge backlog, but no desire to play anything.

In order from last use:

Last usage was PC.
PS5
Psvr2
I have a 2nd pc with a hard drive I bought that has a bunch of emulated games.
Valve index
Switch1 really the only game I would play is metroid dread. Still haven't broke the celophane on the game
Ps vita
Some retro gadget that plays most of the cartridge based retro systems.

I bought a mini pc to play retro games and old favorites like Stronghold, Medieval II Total War, and Thief. I enjoyed it but got hooked on playing games on Quest 3 and haven't touched it in a while. Also been playing Diablo IV on PS5. Good thing about the classics though, is they will always be there for me when I'm ready.

Steam Deck OLED.

Stopped playing my Steam Library on it, the small screen just isn't good for 3D gaming, no sense of immersion whatsoever plus playing first person stuff on it gives me motion sickness because I can barely see the fixed position crosshairs, which I always need on big screen gaming to stop said motion sickness.

Still fire it up for retro 2D stuff though, which looks stunning on the OLED.

The Switch for me. I'm mainly keeping it around for my kids to play on.

My main gaming platforms these days are PC and Steam Deck. Then XBox. I've sold my PS5.

Switch, i only have like 4-5 games for it so 95% of the time it's used as a high tech door blocker.

I guess ps5 aswell in the last couple of years but less than switch.

I don't see myself playing on my PlayStation for a long ass time, I used to only use it for Zenless and now it came to Xbox I just play it there
