Hmm tough choice, cept for Blade ,Cube and certain extent Scream (the originals being the only decent ones, with Scream, the 3rd one sucks hard). Id go for Evil Dead, each one would be a different experience.

Only the illusion of choice. There is but one answer.

"Yippee-kye-yay motherfucker."

This is true, the only reason I am not sure is that I have seen both one and two in recent months although there is nothing wrong with watching them again :)

Tough choice between Die Hard and Indiana Jones for pure entertainment, with back to the future quite close to these.

The Die Hard Trilogy is a gift that keeps on giving IMO.

The first film is one of the most infinitely-rewatchable movies of all time (along with Predator)..I catch something new or gain some new level of appreciation for the movie every time I see it.

The second movie is, to be sure, among the greatest action sequels ever crafted. It maintained every bit of the savy, humor, and bombastic action of the first film without ever managing to ding your cliche-bone. Renny Harlin's finest.

The third film, while certainly the weakest of the three (tried a smidge too hard IMO), still carries with it some of the trilogies most memorable scenes, and has a great mechanic in the Jackson/God-err..Willis dynamic. And you know you're in need of a little screamin' Sam.

I'd encourage you further, but again, only the illusion of choice..it is an inevitability..

The Die Hard Trilogy it is then...

When were on that subject...

...how did the jug thing work in Die Hard 3?

Edit: IMDB just told me....

The solution to the water riddle seems to be incomplete in the movie. To place exactly 4 gallons of water on the scales when you only have two jugs which hold 3 and 5 gallons respectively, you must do the following.

* 1. Fill the 5 gallon jug and decant the water into the 3 gallon jug. This leaves two gallons in the big jug.
* 2. Empty the 3 gallon jug and pour in the two gallons from the 5 gallon jug, leaving space for one gallon in the small jug.
* 3. Refill the 5 gallon jug and pour water from it into the 3 gallon jug until the small jug's full.
* 4. That leaves exactly four gallons in the big jug; put that on the scales and the bomb is disarmed.

"Yipee-ki-yay, motherfucker!" :D

I'd actually put the third one above the second one. The second one is great, though. But Bruce+Sam=match made in heaven.

Some notable asian cinema trilogies:

A Better Tomorrow Trilogy (oh btw he had an identical twin brother!)

Black Society Trilogy

The second film rates consistently higher than any of the other movies, original included. With a Vengence worked well, and was a smart film, but it just didn't know where to end IMO, and its share of "ok wtf" moments. The roof jump and the cockpit eject were at least remotely plausible IMO, but surviving the flooded aquaduct (especially in the manner presented), the wire slide to the freighter, and the windows-shattered-for-miles detonation of the ship? All in one film?

And the extra tidbit at the end just seemed excessive IMO..I mean it wrapped up the story but it was just one too many "too cool" moments for a film in a series that prided itself on its refreshingly realistic approach to blockbuster action moviemaking.

But I digress. The movie was still thoroughly entertaining and it was nice to see McClane on his original stomping grounds. I enjoyed the Sam/Bruce pairing but I think people are often a little too forgiving of the films flaws simply because the two of them shared some memorably witty banter.

If this triology's actually being compared to 'Heat', I may have to check it out...

In Order of awesomeness:

Indiana Jones Trilogy
Lord Of The Rings Trilogy (Extended)
Die Hard Trilogy
Original Star Wars Trilogy
Godfather Trilogy
Back To The Future Trilogy
Matrix Trilogy
Terminator Trilogy
Scream Trilogy
Blade Trilogy

I haven't seen Cube or Evil Dead, so they're off the list. Wit the exception of the last 2, the entire list is really top quality stuff. I'd rewatch all of them anyday.

Looks like you made your decision already, but I'm gonna add another vote for the Die Hard Trilogy with an honourable mention to the Back To The Future trilogy. I'm a sucker for time travel movies.

well I would watch them in this order, this is if you have never seen any of the movies and the ones im listing are the ones ive seen

Die Hard
Star Wars
BTTF
LOTR
Indiana Jones
Matrix(just because the last one sucked, yes I liked Reloaded)
Terminator(just because the last one sucked)
Blade (just because the last one sucked)
