What TV/movie scenes made you actually ROFL?

Since my team bottled it today, I could use something to make me laugh.

Personally, it's fairly easy to make me laugh, but it's something else to make me literally gasp for air. One of the earlier scenes I can remember that did that was the episode Bart the Daredevil. In the eponymous scene, Bart and Homer have a heartfelt dad and son moment which is directly followed by such a ridiculous resolution that you can't help but laugh. A lot. The part where the ambulance crashes sells it completely. Could not stop laughing.

One of the funniest movies I've seen in my lifetime is Monty Python: The Holy Grail. There are many fantastic scenes, but one that might not be the most obvious pick is The Knights who say Ni. It is so ridiculous, and unlike The Black Knight, it takes a while to build up. How King Arthur, the character Graham Chapman plays (RIP), went from "Not the Knights of Ni!" to "We shall do no such thing." because of the preposterous demands is just brilliant. The dramatic sound effect is used with great effect here. At the end he just ignores them and continues his quest. And to think the film only had a budget of $400,000.

One last movie I'd like to share, and one that isn't very known, is Sixty Million Dollar Man. It's Stephen Chow, so you're probably familiar with his style of comedy. There are many parodies of pop culture which he uses to great comedy effect. I'll just pick one where I remember I laughed my ass off. This scene happens after the main character, Stephen Chow, tries to fuck the girlfriend of a mob boss in a Pulp Fiction parody. You can't get away with that of course. So they go to this house and try to kill him. What happens here is so dumb it's funny in a way only Stephen Chow can make it work.

What are some of yours?

Don't know that I ever literally rolled on the floor laughing.

But some of the movies which made me laugh the hardest:

The Naked Gun
Troll 2
Le Dîner de Cons
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
Black Dynamite

The IT Crowd, the episode where they go see the play

edit: seriously if you have never seen the IT Crowd do not read this spoiler as it's a gag that only works once due to the buildup and you don't know it's coming. go watch The IT Crowd

When she turns around and sees Moss working the bar

That makes me laugh out loud just reading the spoiler. That episode is ducking amazing. Along with pretty much every single other episode.

I'm not fixing that autocorrection either.

Only Fools and Horses - Heroes and Villains

South Park - Krazy Kripples

That goddamn episode. I appreciate its not for everyone but if this episode clicks with you....lawwwd

I watch a lot of comedies and Marvel movies, so I laugh out loud a lot.

Recent memory for TV, pretty much every minute watching 30 Rock, Kimmie Schmidt, Veep, Difficult People.

The entire dog sequence in Look Who's Back.

Go watch it

On the ride there, Hitler hears rap and the N word, and is amazed it is being used as a substitute for freind.

They get to a dog thing, a dog annoys Hitler so he shoots the dog (classic Hitler).

Then we see them in the ride home, obvious tension between him and his guide because of the senseless dog murder.

To lighten the mood, Hiter uses the to this point unseen dog carcass in the car as a puppet and says "wassap my nigga!"

I mean, there is so much wrong, but the comedic timing just slayed me.

Nothing tops that episode so many classic moments, wish we could've had a final season, still the last episode was great.

Pretty much everything by Karl Pilkington makes me laugh hard. He's such a magnificent moron.

South Park- 'A continuing source of inspiration' made me laugh so hard I fell on the floor laughing and could barely breathe. The facial expressions of Jimmy when he stuttered was god damn hilarious.

The popcorn sex scene from Troll 2 got me really hard.

Not intentional but the scene from the second Hobbit movie has the first showing of the Sauron looping over the Eye for an uncomfortable amount of time. Pissed off some movie goers because of how stupid I thought it was.

None. I like dark and depressing humor, not the kind that makes you physically roll with laughter. Things like Dr. Strangelove, Happiness, etc.

"Puny God" scene in The Avengers.

Quite a few scenes from Married With Children. One that immediately comes to mind was the Labor Day episode where Bud and Kelly mistakenly gives Al the ashes of Marcy's dead aunt to make his famous burgers with.

Cowboy Bebop episodes Mushroo Samba and Toys in the Attic

Quite a few scenes in Goldenboy as well.

Some years ago, a friend of mine had some people over at her house and she had been wanting to watch a scary movie. She had bought a film called "Rest Stop" and sat us down to watch it.

It wasn't remotely scary and didn't manage to even be hilariously bad until a certain scene halfway through the film.

"You missed!" (6:30 in the video, if the time stamp doesn't work)

I was in tears from laughter. The people watching it with me didn't even realize how hilarious it was until we played the scene again.

That pro wrestling mission in Saints Row The Third where you chainsaw the luchadores while "You're the Best Around!" plays in the background. I nearly fell off my couch I was laughing so hard.

I'm disappointed that they didn't follow the comedic triple

Calamity Jen is fantastic as well.

Four, I mean Five, I mean Fire!

As for a film, the scene in This is the End when James Franco confronts Danny McBride about the porno mag. Low brow, yes, but the Pilgrim bit always gets me.
