What would the 'retard pack' need to be complete?

I'm thinking of getting the core x360 and am curious what the difference is.

Is it just the hard drive or is there more?

And what games at launch require the HDD...I have a chance to get the core pack for cheaper than it's Retail Price, and want to know what I would need to spend to get it up to snuff with the other box.

Yeah I know that, but what are they?

I just want to know if they're even things I need (HDD I would pick up at a later time, or something)...

I'm fine wiht spreading out the money, it's just hard to swallow nearly 600 bucks Canadian without a game.

What are the extras?

Also, will there be demo disks for it around launch?

In addition to the HDD, the premium pack has

Ethernet Cable
HD/Component video cable
Wireless Controller
Headset

that the retard pack lacks.

The HDD and Component cables alone are $140 US sold seperately.

If you don't see yourself using any of Xbox Live's download features, don't need backward compatibility, already have a Live headset from XB1, don't plan on using only wireless controllers, don't have a TV with component video and don't care about dealing with longer load times, then you could probably get the core pack and a memory card and be fine.

That's probably more people than you'd think too.

My local Gamestop has 200 pre-orders and only one is for the corepack. I wonder if that will make the corepack the system of choice for non pre-order guys?
