Drive This Seven Inch Wooden Stake Through My Philadelphia Heart and The Fine Art of Original Sin by the almighty Ink & Dagger.

Time to pimp them: Ink & Dagger were a hardcore band from Philadelphia in the middle-late 1990s. Their singer is now deceased, so they are defunct. The bassist from Ink & Dagger plays in The Icarus Line now. DTSIWSTMPH is a CD collection of their 2 7"s at the time (Love is Dead [which was numbered in blood] and DTSIWSTMPH) with a bonus track. It's 23 minutes of pure vampire fury that tears your face off and generally kicks a whole lot of ass. The Fine Art of Original Sin was their debut full length. They added some electronics to the mix, but didn't soften one bit. They still want your blood. I'll be ordering their final, self-titled, LP from Buddyhead when the Penance Soiree vinyl is released. But these 2 albums are absolutely amazing, and I can't get enough of them. If you like hardcore music, The Icarus Line, or vampires, I give it 2 thumbs up.

Matrix

LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.
The Killers - Hot Fuss.

Fantastic record.

Franz Ferdinand, The Empire Strikes First by Bad Religion and this mini album by The Coral. I can never remember the name of it... something and the Sons of Becker lol.

The Von Bondies - Pawn Shoppe Heart
Just a fun little summer album. Reminds me of Elastica.

Helio Sequence - Love & Distance
I just got this on iTunes and only listened to a song or two. Good stuff so far.

Ratatat - Ratatat
So mellow and so good. I like to zone to this album.

Along with slowly replacing about 70 of my CDs that were stolen (all my Death Cab, Modest Mouse, Stars, Franz, Wilco, Quasi, Bowie, Pixies, Neko Case, Muse, Beatles, Radiohead, New Porns, Wrens, etc.), I picked up a couple new albums to boot:

I found out like two months ago that there's a DVD that goes along with the Amore Del Tropico album. I wanted it, but quickly forgot it existed. Have you seen it by any chance? I believe it's being sold on Amazon.

I hear the Amore DVD is ver amateurish, but BHP being one of my favorite bands, i do need to get this. I only recently discovered this DVD even existed as well.

It's really holding up, it's been a few weeks now and it's still the one album I listen to pretty much in it's entirety at work most days.

Fantastic Plastic People by roots legend jimmy cliff. If you are a marley, peter tosh fan, this is a must. the album is REALLY good, though the sound is too overproduced, since it was produced by dave stewart (eurythmics), it doesnt have that old school sound. This album has the best song about september 11 i heard so far...
