Not a lot that's new this week except for a few downloadable games. Personally I've just still been playing around with my 3DS and hope to maybe finish off Dragon Age 2 this weekend.

What about you, GAF? Playing anything new (or at least new to you)?

Picked up RE5 on the cheap, and while it's not nearly as amazing as RE4, it's been pretty good. Although..

las plaga's with guns, wtf?

Torchlight (floor 24)
Da Third Birthday

Also, finished up Minerva's Den from Bioshock 2 yesterday. Awesome piece of DLC.

I've been studying, but I had enough time to dive into these little gems. Really fun, StarJeweled especially.

Final Fantasy IX- I know I probably shouldn't be playing it again, but I just can't help myself. Comes in as my second most replayed FF game, with the first being FF IV.

Kinda think I should get around to playing some of the games in my backlog like...

-FF Dissidia 012
-KH BBS
-LOH Tits
-3rd Bday
-Tactics Ogre
-Mass Effect 2 Ps3
-Crysis 2
and many more...

And here I am replaying FF IX. LOL

This week it's mostly been Dynasty Warriors 7 on the PS3, plus I got a 3DS with Pilotwings, Ridge Racer, Street Fighter IV and Samurai Warriors.

I'm loving Pilotwings. The 3D effect isn't pronounced as with Street Fighter or Samurai Warriors, but it's got a great sense of depth and is very vibrant, plus it plays brilliantly. I just picked up Street Fighter today and it seems great so far, the online play is surprisingly smooth. Having a bit of difficulty pulling off Fei Long's chicken kick with the analogue stick though.

Beyond Good & Evil HD (360) - Completed the game back in the day, no surprise that I'm thoroughly enjoying this makeover. The game is just so seamless in everything it does. No detail is spared. Ancel has an amazing ability to create really cohesive experiences where everything comes together beautifully. Passed the Slaughterhouse and got the Beluga up and running. I've always found this part of the game a tad underwhelming, as the Beluga can't really go many places around Hillys. Still, it's a big thrill. It's a pretty short game so when I have the time, I'll wrap it up over the next few days.

Call of Duty: Black Ops - Couple of weeks ago I had a COD craving and I've been playing regularly since. The series gets a lot of hate but it's just so accessible and instantly fun. And this is coming from someone who rarely delves into the online multiplayer components of games. Just Search and Destroy pretty much. Nearly finished 10th prestige, with a 1.73 K/D and 1.42 W/L.

Finished Mass Effect 2 on PS3 with a female Shepard as an Adept. What a ride!

Played and finished in one sitting Don't take it personally, babe,
it just ain't your story.

And still enjoying but at a much slower pace the adventures of Geralt in The Witcher as preparation for the upcoming sequel.

And finally on the portable front I'm rotating on my PSP, Tactics Ogre and HotShots Golf 2.

Legend of Kage 2 (DS)
Still cannot beat Boss Rush with Kage (I suck)
Started Normal with Chihiro

Sly Cooper 1 via Sly Collection. I wish people would've told me how awesome these games were when they first came out. So far, I would say Sly >> Jak or Ratchet

WWE All Stars. Been playing this. It's amazing, but I may take a break to wait for DLC

Ys Oath In Felghana on my PSP. Awesome game

This is a Gamecube weekend. Still playing this classic. So polished and so incredibly imersive.

Inching my way through this. Gonna finally beat it after years of trying.

One of the best wrestling games ever in my opinion. I love this game and I love the Gamecube.

Trying to finish up Darksiders. Spent a while experiencing 'backlog fog', which I define as the period of time you spend fumbling around trying to remember the controls of a game you've not played in almost a year.

Also, Angry Birds Rio is REALLY easy if you don't give a fig about three-starring everything...

Switching between 3 right now

Torchlight(On level 31 I believe)
Lead and Gold(Hit about 20 hours)
League of Legends(It's my crack, just bought Luxie Pie Too ^_^)

MLB 11 The Show- opening week, gotta celebrate it with the best sports game ever.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3- haven't played it in weeks, need to jump back in.

Odin Sphere- LOVING the art style and gameplay, just weary of the difficulty people have mentioned.

Beat it earlier in the week. Very awesome.

LittleBigPlanet (PS3) - Had the GOTY edition sitting around in it's shrink wrap for a year, so I decided to finally pop it in and give it a try. It's fun in short bursts, but the platforming can get a bit frustrating at times. I feel that (like Smash Bros.) this is probably much more fun playing with others than going the solo route. I tried playing online, but the lag is so atrocious I couldn't even get through one level.
