Are you talking about those sort of formed powdered candies that were also chewing gum?

If so, they updated the packaging and they're still around. You've got to look. I know a former Dairy Mart where I picked some up on the way to the theater about a year ago, maybe slightly longer.

IIRC, the new packaging is black with vibrant colors.
