Whats happened to Jurassic Park Survival?

From what I've heard, it is shaping up to be epic. Saber Interactive is going all-in on this, creating a survival game that really dives into the Jurassic Park vibe. It's set on Isla Nublar, so you'll be exploring those iconic spots like the giant park gates and the Visitor Center. But it's not just about sightseeing—you'll be dodging dinos, using stealth, and finding clever ways to survive.

It sounds like they're really trying to nail that mix of nostalgia and modern gaming, and it's all coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2025. Honestly, if you're a Jurassic Park fan, this might be the one you've been waiting for

Pretty sure everyone here knows what the game is lol

Is this AI? EverydayBeast better watch out

I've been waiting so long for a modern (not modern audience lol) version of JP Trespasser. Hope JP Survival delivers.

Just for those who are wondering what the game is about - from what I understood, the question is asking about what happened to the game, there are people like me who didn't know much about it, so I had to do some research. :)

No point in showing Turok and Jurassic Park in the same show and overdose everyone on dinos. They're developing both, so they're probably trying to space the news out.

I want this game to be good, Jurassic park is one of my favorite movies good read also. I hope it doesn't just fade away.

I hope so,although we have only seen cgi footage and no real gameplay.
it looks right up my street.i hope they go for a mature vibe like pegi 18 so we can expect a dark, gory and tense adventure.
I'm hoping like alien isolation but with different areas and dinosaurs to escape.

Although there are some relatively recent screenshots from the game itself:

No point in showing Turok
Whatever they are calling Turok didn't look like Turok at all. Tek Arrows don't even explode.

The behind the scenes footage makes it look more like a CGI movie then an actual game. When are they going to show actual gameplay?

In-Game graphics, hopefully due to Pre-Alpha state more than their engine of choice, look abysmal by this gen's standards and Saber previous releases, especially when A Quiet Place looked absolutely stunning.
They also need to focus more on dinosaurs models as they're obviously using Jurassic World skin designs instead of Stan Winston Studio's and that really impacts nostalgia.. which is not something you'd want on a game like this.

That said, my most anticipated game ever. They said a lot of right things and accuracy seems to be on point. The idea of fully exploring the island and those never before seen, under construction areas like the hotel, all while escaping the park inhabitants.. oh man.
Seems like there is a chance this could really be Alien: Isolation worthy..

I'm still skeptical.

That was a six minute video with next to no gameplay.

We can be hopeful it's still being worked on at least, hopefully being allowed to cook but the dev times lately with nothing to show and people wonder why things get binned.

These motherfuckers would release a 6 minute behind the scenes documentary before they show like 30 seconds of actual gameplay.

What are we even talking about man

I hope I'm wrong, but I'll be stunned if this game sees the light of day.
I think judging by the video none of these people narrating even seen or played a video game in their life. That's the main problem all these higher people hired into video game industry who don't give a damn are only there to pad a paycheck

Wow I'm sure glad they're making a game with an ethnically ambiguous female player character
Well, in Trespasser you played as a pair of floating tits with one really weird arm.

Speaking of which, it'd be pretty sick if this was like... the second coming of Trespasser, or something.

It probably isn't though. :-(

This is good! I don't care if they don't hype it yet, just it's been a while since announcement so nice to hear about this finally. This being OG Jurassic Park location is more then enough, so please be good no matter how long it takes!
