What's lumines

I'm not gonna give you any info cause it's easy enough to find it here without a new topic. I'm just replying cause I like your avatar. The Office rocks.

No no. The real question, as stated in my thread, involves importing PSP now for Lumines versus waiting a few more months.

well, it's not that serious. you can import lumines now, and then play it on your sanely priced PSP on launch day.

But I want to know if Lumines is so insanely good that it's worth paying insane prices. I'd jump at the chance to get a $299 PSP, which is only $80 less than what Lik-Sang's asking, and I wouldn't be shocked to see another price drop by the end of the month. It's just eating away at my soul, you see.

If you can get a JP PSP Value Pack and Lumines at Japanese retail price, go for it, NO REGRETS HERE, but if you are going to pay retarded expensive marked up prices, just wait for the price to drop or for the US release. That's my advice. Lumines is fucking good, but nothing is worth getting ripped off over imo.

I agree, lumines is a great game, but not so great that you gotta burn the wallet dude. I say wait till it hits these shores. Unless of course you can get it for the normal Japanese price.

This game better come to the US. Or else...

slightly askew of topic, but how exactly do you pronounce it? when i first heard of it, i pronounced it "loo mens" or something similar to that. But i remember the gamespot live broadcast when they got back from japan, and said it like "loo min ess". That sounds more like it would be in Japanese, but then today i saw the XPlay marathon, and one of the eps they said it the way i had thought, the first one, "loo mens". so which is it?
