So many great ones but for me it's a toss up between Bret Hart & Ultimate Warriors WWF themes.

Loved Fabulous Freebirds theme and dance in the corner in early 90's WCW.

Haven't watched wrestling in a while but I still remember the Brood having an awesome intro.

I believe Gangrel is directing porn now. I wonder if the "blood bath" will be directorial debut.

Had to google it to make sure. Holy shit you're right. Talk about an unexpected turn of event.

Ahh ... yeah ... Ahh ... yeah ...
You can run if you want to, cause you can't hide.
So you could run if you want to, cause you can't hide.

I see you don't know, who you dealin' with
But I don't have it all, I'm a lunatic
Cause see society? They label me a threat
But I'm just gettin' started, I'm not finished yet.
Look me in my eyes, I can see your thoughts
All your ups and downs, all your little faults
Keep actin' tough, it's gonna get creepy
All of a sudden you're startin' to feel sleepy.
But in these streets, when you doze off,
You wake up with your clothes off
Ashamed, feelin' so lost, whoa.
You see my crew, you know my style
Victory is mine, you're goin' down.

Ahh ... yeah ... Ahh ... yeah (run, run, run)
You can run if you want to, cause you can't hide
So you could run if you want to, cause you can't hide.

You can hop over the fence, run under the bed
Get down the block, but ya can't hide
You could stay at your friends', sleep in your benz
Free from ya sins, but ya can't hide.
You'll get a floppin' baby, (right, right, right)
We give it to 'em daddy, (true, true, true)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
now make noise, yeah, yeah
Make noise, yeah, yeah
Make noise, yeah, yeah

yeah it's a bit rapey

As a kid in the late 80's I loved me some Hulkster, Mr Perfect and Macho Man so their themes always bring me back to those days. In the 90's I would go with Undertaker, and Austin's 'glass shatter'. My favorite has to be Hollywood Hogan though, it's a badass Hendrix song with nWo stuff layered on top.

Freshmaker

I am Korean.
yeah it's a bit rapey

That's what makes it so bizarre. He turned heel, so suddenly he had that rape anthem. Never really listened to it while he was making his entrance, but it sounded kinda good. Then I bought it off iTunes because I wondered what was being said...

o_O

Never fit his character at all.

WIth bonus Shinsuke Nakamura entrance gif, so you know what you're getting with his theme song:
ibk5mWH2PgVtt5.gif
I wish I had Nakamura's swag.

Let's take it outside the big arenas and to the bingo halls. Since it's indy wrestling, they're all a bit of a cheat since the music usually isn't written specifically for them.

Los Ice Creams - Hello

The Briscoes - Gimme Back My Bullets

The Kings of Wrestling - We Are The Champions

I enjoyed Samoa Joe's old TNA theme, but not as much as his old indy theme.

I liked the complete package of Christopher Daniels's entrance theme live, even if it runs too long.

Eddie Kingston - Ecstasy of Gold remix is a sentimental favorite.

How about The Wyatt Family - Live In Fear?

And while GABEN's theme in VGCW is great, my favorite is still Adam Jensen's cybernetic bike.

You know how it is - you hear that music and you can't help but get excited because IT'S YOUR DUDE (or favorite women's wrestler!) coming down to the ring! It's time to share who you pop for, who you're a mark for, and whose music sets the crowd on fire!

I'll go ahead and steal the "first post best post" and just go ahead and post the Undertaker's Ministry theme as it is the best:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1lDn01j3Ak

It doesn't get much better than that. Honorable mention to Stone Cold as you can see people just go bananas every time that music hits.

Still, what's your favorite?

Yep. My same exact two favorites. In that order.

Can't pick. I read a post and agree with it then I read another and I agree with them too. Wrestling and good themes go hand in hand.

Clear

CliffyB's Cock Holster
Gotta be Hogan's Real American. Epic yet supremely cheesy and inarguably naff, just like the man himself.

I'm so tired. I'll just do a simple list.

Gangrel
Chris Sabin
Monty Brown
Steve Austin
NWO
Chris Jericho
Triple H (My Time)

Always enjoyed the simplicity of The Natural Disasters Theme

Macho Man was my favourite wrestler growing up, so his theme is another favourite. Went much better with his early costumes alongside Elizabeth than he did with his later, more garish, ones though.

And, of course, as has already been mentioned, Ultimate Warrior's was brilliant. Had me running the living room shaking like a maniac when I was little.

P.S. forget about the Legion of Doom - AAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOHHHH WHAT A RUSH!

Damn you GAF for ensuring I spend my afternoon watching wrestling videos on Youtube

Triple H - My Time
NWO Theme (specifically with this intro)
Eric Bischoff's NWO Theme
Eric Bischoff's WWE Theme - I'm Back
Steve Austin's Disturbed Theme
Drew McIntyre - Broken Dreams (so amazing, and the Titantron's great too. Too bad Drew is a joke now)
Nexus Theme
CM Punk - This Fire Burns (Better than Cult of Personality, though I love CoP as a song)
Shawn Michaels - Sexy Boy
Bret Hart's WWF Theme
Bret Hart's WCW Theme (Under-appreciated, IMO)
Billy Kidman's WCW Theme
Diamond Dallas Page - Self High Five
Raven's WCW Theme (So amazing, I don't care that it's a blatant Come As You Are rip-off)
AJ Styles - Get Ready To Fly
Abyss - Down in the Catacombs
Mick Foley/Mankind - Crash
Cactus Jack (WWF/E)
Owen Hart's King of Hearts Theme
The Brood
Christian's TNA Theme
Christian's "Just Close Your Eyes" Theme (with long intro) I wish he'd make a big comeback one day and have this slow build-up to his big return. Instead, we get things like "It's... it's Christian..."
Edge - Metalingus
Chris Jericho - Break the Walls Down
Degeneration X Theme
Ken Shamrock - The Ultimate
Steve Blackman - Drums in the Night
The Rock's Hollywood Theme
Rowdy Roddy Piper's Theme
Test - This is a Test
Macho Man - Pomp and Circumstance
Stacy Kiebler - Legs
Lita - LoveFuryPassionEnergy
Rob Van Dam (ECW) - Walk. The audience participation really made it too, as evidence in this clip. TNA tried to recapture it with their shitty theme, but it wasn't even close to the same.
Rob Van Dam (WWE)- One of a Kind
Evolution - Line in the Sand
Ric Flair - Also sprach Zarathustra (Fuck starting it with "Woooo", BTW)
Randy Orton - Burn in my Light
Four Horsemen Theme
Wade Barrett - End of Days (They'd FINALLY nailed his theme, then KEPT FUCKING CHANGING IT. Ugh.)
Cody Rhodes - Only One Can Judge
Cody Rhodes - Smoke and Mirrors
Daniel Bryan - Flight of the Valkyries (New)
Daniel Bryan - Flight of the Valkyries (Old) (I kind of respected theme with this. It was like a callback to having classical music themes like Flair, Macho Man etc.)
Alex Riley - Say It To My Face (Wasted theme)
Zach Gowen - Out Of My Way (Another wasted theme)
The Miz - I Came to Play
Original ECW Theme
TNA - Cross The Line (Fuck the new intro song)
Sting - Seek and Destroy
Sting (TNA) - Slay Me
Rhino (ECW) - Debonaire
Lance Storm's WCW Theme (A fucking under-appreciated classic)
Vampiro (WCW) - Destroyer
Vampiro (WCW) - Take It (And I fucking HATE ICP! But the start is just so badass, a perfect wrasslin' theme)

So yeah, I guess I like a lot of wrestling themes! But I think these are all pretty much classics. If I think of any more, I'll pop back in.

Also, I just did this off the top of my head, so you can probably see some logical links between themes!

Edit: Reading back a page, how could I have forgotten The Wyatt Family - Broken Out in Love? Fucking amazing.

Triple H's pre-Motörhead version of "The Game" is really good. Then of course he only used it once or twice and switched to the shitshow that is the Motörhead version because he's an idiot.

haha yeah i loved that one which was used on Survivor Series 2000 and Armageddon 2000.

Demolition
Hulk Hogan
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Ultimate Warrior
Kane's remix (from WWE The Music vol 5)

Nothing has ever come close to topping Austins. Not just because music itself fit and was great, but the smashing glass in the beginning made it work in every circumstance. Surprise return? Sudden ring run in? Entry to the royal rumble? Waiting on someone to come kick a heel's ass int he ring? Or just plain waiting on his entrance. That sudden glass shattering followed immediately by the music meant they could surprise the audience if they wanted without ruining the surprise with the theme music. If you have ten seconds before your wrestler even appears, by the time he shows up that initial "oh shit it's him!" shock has begun to wear off. With Austin it was smash and then he's out there getting the full mark out from fans a second later.

I truly love Goldust's theme. It matches his character SO goddamn perfectly, it's catchy, it has a perfect looping quality, and it syncs so well with the weird slow-mo camera they shoot him with.
