What's up with [eM] -eNCHANT arM-?

Suikoguy

I whinny my fervor lowly, for his length is not as great as those of the Hylian war stallions
We going to see it this year in the US?
I guess nothing was shown at X05 about it.

Its one of the reasons for me buying a Xbox 360.

Pretty new eM site is up, but not much new content there.

Hmm, From's 3D character designers need to work more harder.

I'm rather worried about this game, to be honest. At first I was causciously optimistic (From Soft making an RPG seems a bit, well, "meh"), but I was hopeful. Now, about a month or two from it's release, I still haven't heard anything really concrete about the battle system or field system or menu system or magic system or leveling system and so forth. Yes, the occasionally generic "we have skills and golems with abilities" blurb, but I still haven't a clue as to how the battle system works and flows or any real "feel" for the gameplay what-so-ever. To know so little about an RPG so close to it's launch makes me suspect that it will either be HEAVILY delayed or that it's actually a bit of a stinker. I still think the story will at least be entertaining, even though it will more than likely be extremely generic, since EdgeWorks (Radiata Stories scenario) is writing the scenario, but again considering how little promotion both MS and From Soft have given this game in addition to the fact that the one genre Xbox was lacking in more than any other was the jRPG... ... ... well, sometimes it's nice to be wrong, you know?

I expect it to be a lot like Dark Cloud 1 or that Evergrace game that launched near the PS2. Should be average but show off some of the new capablities that the system holds.

If I import a X360 system I'll get it, otherwise I'll probably skip it.

Speaking of battles, we tested out the combat system, and it seems to be a mix of a strategy RPG and a standard turn-based system. The preview build featured our party of four characters against three enemies. Both parties were placed on a 3x4 grid, and we were given the ability to move our characters a set number of squares within the grid. Some characters were able to move further than others, which we assume was based on each character's stats.

Ya, I wasn't interested in this game at all, since I really don't enjoy JRPGs, but after viewing a gameplay video the combat looks pretty interesting. Kind of like SRPG-lite which I enjoy. Definitely going to wait for reviews though to see how the entire package feels.

Well it's pretty good one, new movie that is, lasts over 3 mins, new gameplay footage, new CGIs, some huge bosses shown, catchy OP song plays in the background and so on...

It's working again, I'll put it on xboxyde in a few minutes (edit: or maybe a few hours...)

Character design looks really cool, I get a modern Final Fantasy / Phantasy Star mix when I look at the game. I've asked this question several times in the past but never got a straight answer hopefully now someone will be able to help me North American release: Yes or No? :D

Looks pretty good. Nothing particularly "next gen" about it but it looks nice and seems like alot of work was put into it.

What's up with the wierd capitalization. Are they trying to NiGHTS it up. Getting it MicroSofted? At least they aren't DrIVing in less desirable directions.
