my mom = sick, so i've got to go down there and stay with her to take care of her while she re-organizes some oil field yard because the manager there, his accountant, and his secretary are all probably all in jail waiting trial (or out on bond) for federal trial for imbezzelment and mis-managment.

My mom's got food poisoning really bad, so I'm going with her on her trip to take care of her.

I have to update the software/database that I wrote on a server at a bank in Puerto Rico. Problems: I'm not done with the latest update and my VPN access doesn't work. Also, the bank keeps wanting to make changes that aren't impossible, but do royally fuck up the database structure and my bosses never seem to understand how difficult these seemingly minor changes are.

edit: Oh yeah, the person who normally does this is gone and we have a new employee I have to work with (he's extremely good, but still).

I just want to read Musashi and go to bed.

Video editing. That's the only thing that will make me not want to sleep as I refuse to miss deadlines.

But once it's time to render, in the bed I go. I needs my sleep.
