Please explain why as well

Great King Bowser

Property of Kaz Harai
Bit torrent - Azureus, because it rocks.
Limewire - Because Miyuru recommended it yesterday. Seems decent for getting random stuff.

bittorrent I use bittornado because, well.. that's just what I've always used..

otherwise IRC (obviously not P2P)

every other setup I've tried (gnutella, emule, etc) sucks. guntella is just too much of a pain to find or successfully get many things and emule can suck my **** with its horrendous queueing system.

Right now I'm using eXeem and Emule. Exeem is great for more popular stuff. plus I get great download speeds. Emule seems good for finding rare stuff. Download speeds blow though.

Bit Tornado, Kazaa lite ++ for single files (rarely used)

I used to use eMule when I was downloading magic instruction videos only because it was the only p2p app that had any of it.

Kazaa Lite K++

Emule is damn good. You'll find pretty much anything you want no matter how obscure, but downloading said file is next to impossible with that lame queue system. >=T

Bittorrent - Bitcomet

That's about it. i was using Soulseek in hopes of finding one song from a CD i lent out but never got back, but i'm buying the CD it was on.

i might get back into DC++, but it's a PITA finding a good hub list and hub for a lot of stuff.

Bittorrent - Bittornado, ABC
eDonkey

PeerGuardian2 - Not a P2P program, but it will help keep me anonymous from companies like BayTSP.

I generally have no need for Bittorrents, but the best I've used is Bit Spirit. I've used ABC, Azureus and several others and this is still my favorite.

P2P, I use Limewire. Usually has what I'm looking for, I get nice speeds and the company is dedicated to keeping spyware out of the program install. Yay.
