There is a reason they didn't release it in theatres, and why they are not releasing official dates. It sucks balls. Its just that bad and stupid.

Hideo Kojima said that anyone who doesn't like this movie is OUT OF TOUCH. I will have to pull myself away from my Kojima shrine for 2 hrs per day to watch and study this movie until MGS4 comes out. No matter how bad it seems I will always beLIEve that it is a great movie until Hideo says otherwise.

Well, Kojima doesn't necessarily say it was a great movie, but he does understand it and it's context of what it was and trying to and I agree with him. Those that don't understand why it succeeded the way it did are out of touch with what it tried to do.

I can't even imagine what kind of films you do like.

It was a fun film, especially for FFVII fans. Some of the most beautiful animation I've seen in a long time.

My local EB said the date they had was 1/28/06...

Kojima isn't exactly the authority when it comes to good storylines/cinematrography/anything of that nature, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

It was a fun film, especially for FFVII fans. Some of the most beautiful animation I've seen in a long time.

I thought the CG in Final Fantasy TSW looked better. Plus, as bad as it was at least it had a plot that attempted to make sense. I loved FF7 but AC is incredibly bad.

TSW was like $100+ million too, so I thought that would be a given for a smaller budget direct to DVD film. For something comparitive to that level in the gaming world would be Onimusha 3's intro which looks better than even AC and animates far better, but.....costs $1 million per minute to produce.
