You know, I come here almost every day and I just realized that I haven't been to the homepage of this site in probably 2 years. Its funny because after a while I forgot there WAS a website. So when was the last time you remember actually visiting the homepage of GAF?

I go to it once a quarter or so but, here is the kicker I don't actually READ it. I just know someone around here feels better when I do it. It's all karma I guess.

If they had an RSS feed for the page I might be inclinded to read it but that's about it. I get all the details when I hit the fourms plus commentary. SO

I didn't realize that there was a frontpage until the Ninja Gaiden review. Why is it that review scores from IGN and Gamespot are posted but never Gaming Age?

I've wondered that too. Shouldn't GAF be promoting reviews on the front page as well as IGN reviews?

Honestly, I used to have the front page bookmarked. I'd go there, but then just click on the forums, spend time here and then go elsewhere. It wasn't that there wasn't anything compelling to read (occasionally there was), but the forums were of higher priority. After reading the forums for awhile, I kind of forgot about the front page.

Maybe that's how it should've been done. The forums should've led to a subsection of the site with news and other junk.

I last visited the main page during E3, looking for info about XBox 360 and PS3. There was a glut of topics about them and all I wanted was basic information. Avoiding the accompanying GAF fanboyism was the main motivating factor. It's really bad in topics pertaining to hardware.

Most of my visits to Gaming-Age are by referral from GameRankings. I'll usually check out the IGN and GameSpot reviews for a game, then good ol' indy GA.
