How big/important was the plot? Any synopsis of important info you could throw out, CVX?
RE4?cvxfreak said:But then what kind of game would it be?
ArcadeStickMonk said:RE4?
Leon is infiltrating all day long in that piece.
Instead of a SWAT team trying to stop them, it's bio-weapons.
There's your game.
Well, it might piss Reilly off...cvxfreak said:I wonder how many people would actually approve of that type of game.

Sweet, THANKS, I hadn't realized how much I had forgotten
Damn, we need remakes of 2 and 3.

Zombie sex'in action!
That's where the series needs to go. With lots of Yoko and Rebecca too.
cvxfreak said:I personally wouldn't mind if they did infiltrate Umbrella's base.
But then what kind of game would it be? That truly is my biggest concern.
John Harker said:Ouch. That one hurt, CVX, for real![]()
Lyte Edge said:Just like RE4 in play style and perspective; it would be even more action-based than RE4 and multiple characters with different attributes would be available, like Chris, Clair, and Jill. The whole point of the game is an assault on Umbrella, so no puzzles of any kind.
The game would be the absolute END to the Umbrella storyline, tying up any loose ends from past games. Enemy types could be a combination of human soldiers and bio-weapons; this is Umbrella's home base, so the slow, lumbering zombies that would be far too easy to take out in the RE4 engine could be made to fit into the style better, having smarter A.I. or they could remove zombies all toegther in favor of nastier bioweapon monster-type enemies and/or "supersoldiers" like Wesker and Krauser.
And just for fun, throw in some bonus unlockable characters like Dante, Samanosuke, and Vanessa.![]()
cvxfreak said:Now that's better. Human swat team members in infiltration missions, though... I think I'd go and play Call of Duty 2 instead.I want my monsters, damnit!
Lyte Edge said:The game would start off with human Swat-team style enemies in the BEGINNING, then switch to nasty monsters and the like as your progress through it, just like how in the beginning of RE4, you fight "normal" villagers, and things get nastier from there.
And these don't have to be just regular guys you're fighting against; mutated soldiers would be awesome to fight against; basically it could be that Umbrella got the formula right, and all the soldiers are now perfect killing machines, not zombies. If I were making the game, I'd throw in a level/section in the basement of the complex that would be like the "rejects room," an area FILLED with zombies who run right at you the minute you open the door.
