Where do babies come from?

Just slipped that magical little card into my DS and fired up Rub Rabbits...holy crap.

The plot is a little more fucking crazy this time, with a lot of the games feeling fresh (although stampede and unicycle are back in...stampede's hard as hell though) and the plotline being a little more interesting to follow...graphics are notably better so far...and the music is great...

Gha, I tried hating on Rub Rabbits but I just COULDN'T. Admittedly it's still a DS tech demo, but minigames like blowgun are extremely well executed and well beyond the first game's limits...

Dammit, now I want a Love Story game on Revolution with these kinda designs...

So far, this is like a 7.5. I'd rate FTM around 6.5, for reference.

It's a lot better than Feel the Magic, and I loved Feel the Magic. It's just really heartwarming, there's no other way to describe it.

I am really looking into picking this game up....I have been holding off for too long now.

I am thinking about waiting until the DSL comes out so that I can see it on those vibrant colorful screens =)

I just finished the regular game in FTM, and am working on all the individual minigames and hard mode. I dig it. It really suits the DS hardware, and my GF thinks I'm crazy for liking it, so that makes the game that much cooler. :D I dug the interactive end credit sequence (the Sega and Sonic Team ones, especially!), and I think within a couple more days, I'll bust open Rub Rabbits.

RUB IT!

Wait until you get Rub Rabbits. You can play love minigames with her :p

RUB IS LOVE!

Is it worth $30 Canadian??

I want it so much but I don't want it to just be a week fling! I want something to go along with my everyday Animal Crossing doses.

:lol Yeah, I was telling her about the 2-player stuff in the sequel, and I think she gave me an even more puzzled look! Admittedly, however, she got hooked on that Parachute/calculator game. :)

My only problem with Rub Rabbits is that the Rub Rabbits team hasn't made an appearance at all throughout the storyline. However, I have yet to finish it (stuck on Scene 34) so perhaps they'll show up.

Hehehe... just wait.

I love this game. I really liked Feel the Magic, just thought it was too short (I'd give it a 7). Rub Rabbits is much much better. The games are a little more balanced in my opinion, and I just love the plot and cutscenes.

I'm on the rolling snowball level right now. Part 5 of it is f'ing hard. :)

Rub rabbits is the prequel to Feel the Magic, its basically how the rub rabbits were formed. I was shocked @ the end

I still feel so bad for that girl at the end of the game, having to build a robotic replica of the guy, thats just...very pathetic..

Seems like a neat title, wonder how well the multiplayer is. The 6th game, Pie, seems a little weak however...

I don't really know whats up with that, it seems like that replica was built during the midstory, not afterwards. If anything tho, I was expecting the childhood friend to understand their love. I guess not

I knew that couldn't be a NOA ad. You really have to love NOE for their style.
Can't love someone while spitting nails due to their crappy shitting fuck-turd customer services.

I had a lot of trouble with the blowgun game. Maybe I didn't get something, but it was really hard to move the thing around, sometimes it wouldn't respond at all.

Oh comeon it's very possible to love someone that fucks you over and over and over and over again.

That first bull tapping game is a killer. When they start dishing out the hearts to tap I honestly was going tap my stylus through the DS. A feel sorry for little kids.

The game 'is' fun, yes, but it is very short lived, meaning I don't think it's worth its retail price at the moment. The game doesn't has as much charm as the original either. I liked it, definitely worth looking into if you loved and enjoyed the first, but buying it for the sole purpose of 'testing' out the experience - not worth it.

:lol I still need to pick this one up. I loved Feel The Magic, but it was a shame how quickly it hit clearence areas in stores. Hopefully this one will do a little better in terms of sales.

:lol When I saw the title, I thought this was off-topic and you needed a little help with the birds and the bees. Then I remembered Rub Rabbits... :D

Rub Rabbits is fantastic... a much better all-around value than FtM. Four story-mode difficulty levels!

I also love the number of easter eggs that are in place. The title screen girl talks to you on your birthday. You get a different title screen when your DS battery is low, etc.

As for "another story," the girl built the robot in the middle of the main story's story.

It's from Tengai / Sengoku Blade: Samurai Ace Episode II, which is an arcade horizontal shooter from Psikyo (Saikyo). When it came out for the SS like 10 years ago, my buddy and I played the hell out of it. Character name is Koyori (aka Miko), and unsurprisingly, she's prominently featured on most/all the advertising for the game (and the PSP shooter Sengoku Cannon), and is a favorite of garage kit sculptors overseas.

It's a cool game, but Cave's Guwange (similar era/feel) absolutely trounces it. I love the character designs, though (she got hit with the ugly stick in Cannon, though), and have to support any company that calls its easiest difficulty setting "Monkey". :lol
