Where do you live and which country would you like to live in?

I live in the Netherlands and I couldn't think of any country where life (and stuff like social security) is better than here.

We don't have tornado's, or hurricanes. Perfectly average weather.

I miss mountains and big forests, but an 8 hour drive puts me in the middle of the Alps anyway.

It's expensive though, very. And no matter how nice the scenery, you get used to it eventually. So if you move, move becaue of people and job, not scenery.

Swiss is extremely nice though. Was driving though it on a business trip last year and it's soooo nice. Walensee looked exactly like the stock photos here.

I work with a few Swiss-natives and they say people there are so cold and unfriendly that's why they moved.

Like all of Nothern Europe. People from the south I think really underestimate just how different culture is here. Know quite a few people few southern Europe and Asia who have real problems here. You have to be able to deal with it.

I remember being told by a waitress in France saying you're smiling you must be Canadians.

I live in West Cornwall, UK and wouldn't want to live anywhere else, they're aren't even many places I'd like to visit. I wouldn't mind going to Japan to see some of the gardens but that's about it. I'd travel to watch motogp, but for the racing, not the culture or scenery.
Man I love Cornwall. It was our main destination for holidays in the 90s. Was there back in 2019. Will visit again as soon as the UK comes back into reality.

Im from Germany and would not move to another country. Maybe Austria. But Germany has much more to offer.

I started learning German just because when you talk it sounds like you're screaming at people and that's so satisfying.

UK, however we're thinking of heading down to Tasmania in a few years. I do fear a little that cabin fever will set in seeing as its at the very back of the back of beyond, although on the upside I'll have some lovely scenery to stare at whilst I slowly lose my marbles.
