Well deserved IMO. I wonder how much money it's generating. There is really no good reason to spend money.

Why? China's numbers don't count?
Its your generic Chinese UE5 clone game with loot gacha and lootboxesWhat is this game?
If it's another "soulslike" dont bother answering my question.
I tried it based on gaf recommendations and uninstalled after about an hour. To each their own.
Context is important to me. A game overperforming because of a single market is not very notable to me. In a few years the all-time CCU list will be completely overtaken by stuff like this. Why? China's numbers don't count?
Upset? No. Context is good.lmao, what a bullshit of an excuse.
Game is fantastic and the fact that it's free and made by Chinese devs upsets people for no fucking reason.
By being F2P, the game manages to put an absurd number of western fully paid games to shame.
Why not?A game overperforming because of a single market is not very notable to me
Strange that you don't do this excuse for Steam in general which has its majority of players in china. Is it because it skipped xbox?
Somehow, it only applies to China. Nobody said a damn thing when US-centric games like Halo topped the charts.Context is important to me. A game overperforming because of a single market is not very notable to me. In a few years the all-time CCU list will be completely overtaken by stuff like this.
China release was an year ago. That global numbers.
Same, this game is not remotely interesting to me and being F2P makes me even less interested playing it.If this is as "amazing" as people said Wukong is, then it's not for me. Wukong was incredibly mid.
Same reason I don't find it notable when Fifa, Madden and COD top the charts in the West. If someone asked me how a mid game like Black Myth Wukong hit 2,415,714 CCUs on Steam, I'd wave my hand dismissively and say China. Why not?
Yeah, two totally different markets. Holy shit 9 million bro! Mostly because of China. Oh.Somehow, it only applies to China. Nobody said a damn thing when US-centric games like Halo topped the charts.
China shit in general honestly. I know you eat it up but I remain unmoved. You'll have to excuse my dear friendKacho . He's a good egg but Chinese f2p make his autism flare up.
Those numbers include China though.I think they're pretty solid probably. Atleast 2 million on Steam alone.

Welcome to Western propagandaSo China doesn't count? what the fuck![]()
GAF will call this Demons Souls like.It doesn't matter. GAF will find a way to call this "AI slop from CCHHHina"
China shit in general honestly. I know you eat it up but I remain unmoved.
I think Korea is pumping out more interesting games that are higher quality and more deserving of praise.![]()
The game is fun. Anything that has a big budget and is successful that wasn't produced by blue haired San Franciscans is a W in my book.
Tides of Annihilation would be the first decent budget Chinese game I'm very interested in. Check that out if you haven't, looks fricken awesome and badass.I think Korea is pumping out more interesting games that are higher quality and more deserving of praise.
But I've made my point here so I'll see myself out.
Yes, you saw that post too in that other thread?GAF will call this Demons Souls like.![]()
Laughed hard at that one.Yes, you saw that post too in that other thread?
It's great though?Same reason I don't find it notable when Fifa, Madden and COD top the charts in the West. If someone asked me how a mid game like Black Myth Wukong hit 2,415,714 CCUs on Steam, I'd wave my hand dismissively and say China.
Hey, we don't all hate China like Muricans doWelcome to Western propaganda
Strongly disagree. I'm willing to sacrifice my social credit score on that. It's great though?
Some platform fans though find it repulsive![]()
single-player MMO/RPG with good combat and exploration, or so I've heard. Is this a Wu Kong like or something else? Never heard of this game before.
Yeah, yeah, sureStrongly disagree. I'm willing to sacrifice my social credit score on that.
Stop seething at the comments then dude, this isn't like you.But I've made my point here so I'll see myself out.
Having an opinion you disagree with isn't like me? What.Stop seething at the comments then dude, this isn't like you.
The Chinese launch was over a year ago, so in this case it probably doesn't count for that much. The global Steam client doesn't even support China. The game is only available through the official NetEase Games Chinese game client for them. Why? China's numbers don't count?
No, what it isn't like you is seething like you are about some foreign game and then coming and dealing lol reactions as if you were fuckingHaving an opinion you disagree with isn't like me? What.
Been thinking of downloading this since it release but i have conflicted reports about the monitization that put me off.
Basically seen people say its set up like a mobile game, you know where its like you cant access this area for 24 hours, or cant open this chest for 6 hours etc.
Also seen people say thats wrong and its just cosmetics.
Which is it GAF?
