Snow = bad.

I know madison, wi is going to get dumped on between january and april. That's just the way it goes. The longer we stave it off the better. There are no snow days here: If you're still alive, you're supposed to be at work/school.

We got two days of snow, and it melted the next day.

You know what they say, if you don't like the weather in Indiana,
move to New York b/c it's better

This sucks, the northeast hasn't gotten any good snow storms all winter. Hell, we're not going to be getting any snow at all before christmas. That's never happened before in my lifetime.

It doesn't help that I'm in the southern part of Connecticut, so it's tough enough to get snow as it is.

I want my snow days, bitches.

:lol

You would not be saying that if you lived in Winterpeg, Manitoba. We got snow around the last week of November (which was super late this year, because it ususally starts snowing around the end of October) it hasn't gone up past 0 degrees Celsius since then, and right now, it's -16 degrees Celsius (and tonight, with the wind chill, it's closer to -27 C ), the snow in my backyard is up to my knees and it won't all melt away until about the end of March (if it doesn't snow again in May like it did this year).

I can understand you wanting a little bit of snow for the holiday season, but when you have to put up with -50 degree Celsius January weather you start to feel otherwise. Especially when the reason you get a snow day is because it's so cold any of you're exposed skin will freeze in less than a minute.

i dunno where the snow is, but down here in san antonio, texas, it reached 26 degrees yesterday morning. it's going to be a bitter, bitter winter.

shit.

I hope it snows. I walk/train, for the most part, so I actually enjoy it. Ain't nothing better than taking a stroll in the evening with snow on the ground and in the air. I love the atmosphere; so peaceful.

Plus I snowboard, but it really just takes rain at level ground for it to snow in the mountains.

Sweetness. Snow is now suddenly expected this monday for my area.

Yep same here. I live in Nassua County, Long Island. It would be great to have a day off over the week since I'm already getting off Friday due to the holiday and all.
