I'm not quite sure what pushed him over the edge. He's been pretty stressed here at work, and maybe the additional job of moderating here was too much. Being a mod is certainly less than rewarding; it's much easier to just be a regular user. I hope that he can get some rest and comes back.

Geezus. I got a PM from him the other day that was sort of ambiguous I suppose, but I never clicked that thread until you mentioned it and I had to wade through 17 pages of garbage to even find out what happened to the guy; ironically enough, I clicked the thread, began on Page 1, and worked backwards from Page 17, figuring, incorrectly, the drama was at the end. Nope. The last page I went to, Page 2, yielded the answer.

So for those people that liked -jinx-, I'll save you the trouble: He left GAF and his account was banned, for reasons of his own choosing. Or something like that.

Side note: There's a lot of hate in that thread. Not surprised by that, but by some of the people that expressed it.

As for the question at hand, none. There are probably 5 people I'd even particularly care to meet on GAF as a whole, and none of them live in Austin.
