Which long running IP have kept their quality up the most? Open spoilers

Thread title says it all. Which long running IPs have kept their quality shining the most while others have lost a lot of their luster (Star wars, except for some standout stuff here and there).

For me, it's definitely the TMNT. Besides the garbage live action movie revival, I think every other form of TMNT has been quality stuff. OG comics, IDW comics, 87 cartoon, 03 cartoon, '12 cartoon, Rise, and now the mutant mayhem cartoon and accompanying TV show. It's all been good to great. I think one thing it has going for it, is that the IP embraces trying new things with its IP. I know some people hate that, but I believe it does help keep the IP fresh. Unlike the 15th Batman revival, we have different origin stories for many of the turtles' content and that keeps things fresh.

Some of my favorite turtles content were things I thought I'd hate prior to viewing. I thought I'd fucking hate the 2012 version because I honestly didn't like the art style all that much even while watching the show, but it has some of the best Shredder and Splinter interactions of the entire franchise and even has shredder killing Splinter and it's a gut punch throughout that whole arc. It is really good stuff if you haven't seen it and like the turtles IP.

Honorable mentions are power rangers and Dragonball for me. I like super and the newest movies have been great. Daima wasn't garbage, either. I'm sure going to miss toriyama's content.

South Park, 28 seasons and 99% of it is good.

Have they fumbled some episodes recently and seasons prior? sure...

But it's still top-notch and snappy writing.

Compared to its contemporaries, it's leagues ahead. The Simpsons is horseshit lately, American Dad is stupid and grotesque compared to what it was, Family Guy... well, we all know what Family Guy is, Rick n morty, a worse-written poor man's Futurama... and finally Futurama, a show that should have stayed dead after the movies.

Just to add to this, as much as I love Star Wars. audio books and the Mandoverse. TMNT IDW comics run has been pretty epic, somewhat negating some of the poor movies and failed cartoons after 2012 series. They are bringing Last Ronin to the big screen aren't they?

Sadly. That was canned. Supposedly the game is still in development but we haven't heard anything since the reveal. It sucks rise didn't pan out. I finally started watching it and it's actually quite good. Not as serious as the 03 or 2012 ones but it is good.
