Which Netflix anime should I watch next?

Yes. Nujabes dies one night after traveling the Shuto road. It brought many sad feelings. Like the time Spike Speigel
dies
at the end of Cowboy Bebop.

Seriously? I'm halfway through Cowboy Bebop. Does that even count as a fucking spoiler-tag?

Nope. Netflix anime is all dubbed.

Except for Trigun. Thank Ghud.

Sorry. It won't ruin your enjoyment of this classic anime at all. You know it's coming. It's pretty obvious. But again. Apologies. You never know the statute of limitations with this crowd. I thought it was on par with Darther Vader being Luke's
Let me see that thoonnngg. Babby make your booty go dun dun dun. dumps like a truck what what.

From what Netflix has Samurai Champloo is about the best, but it is also one of the best anime titles ever, so that is not too hard.

Trigun is not bad but much more lighthearted than Samurai Champloo.

Mushi-Shi has a very good, serious mood, but doesn't really go anywhere. Give a few episodes a try, and when you lose interest, feel free to stop.

High School of the Dead is short and fun, but also really, really dumb. Turn your mind off and enjoy.

Eden of the East was well-liked by some people, but after the first two or three episodes I completely lost interest.

I feel like Shiguri Death Frenzy is a criminally underrated show. It is about two samurai building up to a fight with each other over 13 episodes. It is super dark, but I really liked it.

If you want to watch anime, listen to the people here and get a crunchroll subscription.

If you're not into anime that much but want more than what Netflix offers, get Hulu Plus. It still adds about two titles a week, and there is a lot to like. Attack on Titan is a fantastic modern show. You can also watch Lupin 3rd: A Woman Named Fujiko Mine, which is pure style. Also, Hulu has been adding a lot of British programming recently that is not on American TV, and it has other international shows. I'm pretty close to canceling Netflix, but Hulu will not be going anywhere, they just add too much content.

Is the Initial D on Netflix dubbed with the unforgivable removal of Eurobeat? Please say no.

And my vote's for Eden of the East or Trigun.

I can give you a guest pass for Crunchyroll if you wanna check Attack on Titan or HxH OP.

I'm up to date on Titan outside of Crownchy Rewl. Is the series already over? I think I seen epi 12 so far. I did see Steins Gate recommend else where, looked right up my alley-hole. Hulu, huh... I'll check it out.

Trigun is stupit. When does it get good? With killin and the like.

It takes a good while. It's kind of all over the place in tone, but I enjoyed the comedy too, so YMMV.

Fair warning: Steins;Gate on Hulu only shows up to 4 in the dub, then goes straight to 13, with major spoilers. Tread lightly.

I think you can watch 5-12 on Funimation's site if it comes to that, or just watch the sub, but it has a great dub.

Get a Crunchyroll trial and watch Attack on Titan.

They have the first episode for free and I watched it yesterday. It was great and I'm about ready to sign up for the service.

I also watched Random Hero, a bonkers live action drama that turned out to be actually funny.

I'm somewhat worried about my free time if I sign up.

You'll know when the killin is about to start. The music tells you.
Episode 6 gets at the emotional core of the series.
Episode 12 is when the stakes for Vash & co. rocket upwards.

Well, episode 5 is called Hard Puncher. That's the most promise this show has shown thus far. I'll stick with it.

This thread is now a LTTP Trigun thread. Why is Milly so big? Will this question ever be answered?

Sweet! There's some blood!

No, there's no blood... Sigh... It was a blood trick!!

I'll tell you. Brace yourself.

She's tall.

DesertPunk is pretty fun to watch. Same with higjschool of the dead. Both are simple, predictable, mindless entertainment.

Started watching Eden of the East and ended up buying the BluRay movies. So I recommend that one as well..

I 'think' that The Sky Crawlers is subbed, and I 'know' that its frigging great.

its very distinctive of its director, good ole' philoposizin Oshii, I think its a great, hard science fiction film.

bad news if you're not enjoying Trigun--that's as close as you'll get to Samurai Champloo in Netflix's piss poor and stale anime collection. I feel like they've had the same crap for a year or two now.

Good news! I just started enjoying it. I think I'm starting to get it as well. It's growing on me. The early nebbish nature of Vash seems to be rooted in a larger scheme which I'm interested in discovering.

Lord no, a year ago their collection was a lot deeper.

I just decided to rewatch Tokyo Godfathers on Netflix. And yup, I still teared up at this film. This film had those amazing feels. Anyone who hasn't seen it, just stop what you are doing, and watch it. It's magnificent.

Ahh yes, we hooked another one boys, mission accomplished!
[High fives and toasts all round]
It's so rough quiding a newbie through that dull yet necessary start into sweet Trigun goodness... without spoilers.
It always deserves kudos all round.

Got pissed when they removed Gurren Lagann and FLCL from Netflix. Granted I own pretty much every rendition of both shows on pretty much every medium but it was good to have that shit on da flix. That was a sad day indeed.

Trigun is pretty great. I hear Eden of the East is good too, but I haven't watched it yet. A friend just did and loved it.

Squid Girl is pure joy condensed into 26 minute servings and shaped like a squid.

Oh and do not watch Angel Beats.

I just finished Eden of the East and I now have absolutely nothing to watch in terms of anime. I've watched:

Soul Eater
Samurai Champloo
Trigun
Angel Beats
Darker than Black
Blood+ (on Adult Swim)
Mushi-shi
Samurai 7 (on Toonami)
Gunslinger Girl
xxxHolic

I have no idea what to watch now.
