I have a 2.8ghz P4, 4gm of DDR2 800 Ram, Windows XP and a HIS ICQ3 Turbo ATI 1950XT 256mb (AGP 8x).
UT3 on all low, 800x600 runs like shit < 20 FPS.
However I can put Crysis on 1600x1200, All settings medium, Shadows on low. I get a decent 40-55 FPS. If there's a ton of crap going on, on screen I droped to 30-40 fps. And then right back up. So Crysis does scale, just not as well as the Source engine of course
Never been a big fan of the online part of CoD fans, doubt that will change with CoD4, Crysis and UT3 won't run on my rig so I think I'll stick with BF2
probably UT3 after I build a new computer. but we'll see because I plan on trying out CoD4 too... I don't care about multiplayer with Crysis, though, unless it gets some crazy mods.
I voted other. TF2 will be my main course until at least Frontlines: Fuels of War. I really hope it's able to be a polished Desert Combat and not the chopper sim the latest Battlefields have been.
EDIT: And by chopper sim, I mean I want balance. I don't enjoy existing solely for the purpose of having pilots dropping rockets on my ass. And I don't wanna fight to pilot the choppers, since I don't love flying them. Balance is what I seek.
