Because Eggman actually shared opinions and shit, he was just a bit mischievous.
BS was nigh on mute, apart from when he thought something was lame. It always seemed like his sole purpose of this forum was to point out how lame everyone else was.
As I said before, it's endearingly mischievous against annoying and callous.
Plus, the fact that he posted like a 5 year old was a constant irritation to me.

I kinda think blame space was finally perma'd for trolling the depression thread.
Someone even submitted a meme for that, you know, using the blond nerd as a background.
It's one thing to be a little negative, I mean Derrick is pretty damn negative, but he's not a dick per se. BS went out of his way to antagonise people.
To be fair, I'll give him his dues, he's calm under fire. I've often spit venom about him in his presence, and he didn't say shit.

I like Derrick mainly because waiting for the day he is really negative but then plays the game and it turns out be his favorite. He seems be type person who would admit he is wrong which is pretty cool. Plus I never get tired of him moaning especially about Deus Ex HR even though he has the avatar of Adam Jensen

Always makes me laugh how much hate Aguirre gets in funny pics thread lol, don't need to explain the reasons I know them all to well. I just don't post much in there anymore because all my gifs are fucking reused as hell. Got about 900 + on my minus account but I think everyone's seen them all.

Raising hand. To be honest, even though that is supposed to be the main reason members get banned for, I've witnessed people getting away with it quite a bit too often as of late. For instance, someone laughed at one of my posts two days ago, a rather thorough post wherein I was "calling out" a specific hive-mind that thread-shits. Dude resorted to a sarcastic one-liner as a response. I told him he was "proving my point" by doing that before inviting him to read the post again. He then turned like "how about no?". Didn't delve into that any deeper.

Wait, I missed out Derrick01. Even though he lays on the hyperbole thick, I totally see his perspective (like for modern check-listing game design) and his love for similar genres (stealth games). He's not as caustic as you think. One day a game developer will please him.
Plus, the only GAFer I know who holds an avatar for a game that he doesn't like that much. Everyone else displays their fanaticism pretty clearly with their avatars, but he's always critical.

Am I the only one who finds him unbearable? It has nothing to do with his hyper critical style, in fact that's something I often enjoy when the content backs up the tone, but he comes off like an angsty fifteen year old and I've seen him post a lot of very ignorant stuff. Not to be a dick, but the bar must be set low these days if he's really seen as some bastion of taste.
