Mostly Nintendo-GAF, including, but not limited to Andrex, AceBandage, BGBW, Billychu, Boney, BurntPork, Chet Rippo, GDGF, Gravijah, Wiseblade...
Predominantly gaming people like Aeana, along with Dark Schala and Kayos90 (both have been utterly awesome in the Tales of Graces f thread).
Some predominantly OT posters such as Count Dookake and Gaborn (who I think is one of the most reasonable and levelheaded people here, even if I disagree with him once in a while).
Some mods, specifically (but not limited to!) Stumpokapow and Nirolak.
I haven't seen BowieZ in a while, we chatted a little once, he's a pretty cool guy.
I'm sure I forgot people.

Like: Everyone who seeks to be humorous foremost. Also the people in the various books, movies, music, tv, comics, etc. threads who bring a little more to the table than "I like this."
Don't like: People who dominate topics. I click the "who posted" link a lot now before reading a thread, and if the post count is dominated by one or a few people, it's likely ego trippin' noise and not a good read.

I feel no real desire to tell the general GAF public who I appreciate in this community. I see their avatars and I read their words more thoroughly compared to the typical rabble. There have definitely been a few in this very thread. For me it's about having a personal enjoyment that is more gratifying than sticking usernames on a list. It probably helps that I spread myself thin throughout all forms of the forum rather than relying upon subscriptions and subsection communities, therefore those amicable and familiar avatars represent people that are quite different from one another.
This is like me, only in real life.

Soultron - Always comes across as a cool guy, plus the love of SSX and snowboarding in his tag always makes me take interest in his posts. Which is a good thing, as he always has something good/relevant to say
Melchiah - Great poster in the creepy pics thread, plus an unabashed love for all things dark, macabre and generally off-beat. I love him for that.
Mama Robotnik - Fun thread starter and total Trekker. I could have lengthy conversations with this guy, I feel
CHEEZMO - A fun guy who even treats juniors with respect. A very down to earth guy who isn't afraid to chat about stuff most people would leave alone (ponies). Also the man who lays claim to my favourite avatar, although he's not using it right now. I'd go drinking with the guy.
ThoseDeafMutes - Straight talking and never sugar coats truth. This guy could match Spock with impeccable logic, and his posts on science are spot on. Plus, a fantastic avatar.
There are probably a few more out there, though.
