It's not exactly the same, though. They ditched the multipliers, for one thing...atomsk said:passing on legends.
i was excited till i heard the crash mode is identical to 3
all i wanted was a few crash junctions from 2. oh well
sadly this is the only thing i was keeping the psp around for, so now it's going to be trade-in fodder for the 360

And the loading is a pain in the butt. Still a good game, though.
The ghosting and loading are accepted evils for the ability to play current gen games.
I think that's going a bit too far, but it does seem a LOT less polished than other PSP racers. Ridge Racers and Wipeout both FEEL like a current gen game and look extremely solid. BOL seems very rough around the edges in comparison. It also seems to be rather lacking in the lighting department.beermonkey@tehbias said:Well, that's the other thing...the damage modeling and physics of Legends is very Playstation 1.5, and does not live up to recent current-gen iterations of the franchise. Also, the walls and rails show seams and gaps like original Playstation and Saturn racers.
That's the problem, they both have advantages...VerTiGo said:Have we learned which version of Revenge is the better of the two?

There is no clear cut "superior version". :\
Damn, I hated the way that worked in multiplayer (in BO2). :\1. can you input your name for crash mode high scores? (like in 2)

Yeah, but didn't you have to manually enter the initials everytime you broke a record?atomsk said:it gave me a lot more replay value, as my friends and i would often try to outdo each others high score
