I'm drink!

Long day at work so I came home and I had a bottle of Tres Generationes Anejo sitting there unopened so started having some shots. One became two and then three, 4....5.....

That shit is so good!

Do you all love tequila and what kind?

I was going to play some Strategic Command: WW1 now...but I think I will be the worst computer tgeneral ever in this condition!

My favorite tequila is Don Julio. Añejo, Blanco, Reposado. All good. Sometimes I will get an orange. Hornidos? Oh boy, not the biggest fan but it does its job. Patron? Haven't had in a while.

Getting older sucks but developing a tolerance for liquor has been one of its benefits. Discovering these drinks has been fun.
 
Tequila has never been my favourite. I don't like it much on its own and I haven't ever enjoyed a mixer over other variants.

Give me some bourbon and angostura with orange zest any day. That's my go-to treat for myself.

I like Tequila but Tequila doesn't like me.
We just mutually ignore each other unless she's the only one left in the room.
 
If anyone is in México. First see for tequila. The state that is the Best place to get a good tequila is in México guadalajara State

I love all hard liquors (gin is my favorite)

I handle tequila better than most people I know, that being said tequila is the only liquor that gives me hangovers without proper prep work

Remember lots of water and an aspirin before bed tonight

Funny, tequila is probably the one that never gives me a hangover. If you are getting headaches, look at higher quality or low sulfite brands, my favorite low cost brand is Cimmeron tequila. It is the only one that doesn't give my wife headaches and we always keep a bottle around.

Personally, I like the anejo, but they can get pricey. Cenote is my go to for that, but I usually have a few other brands around. Everyone who likes tequila should spring for a bottle of Jose Cuervo Family Reserve extra anejo at some point in their life. I hate Jose Cuervo in most cases, but that particular brand is the best I have ever had, even though it's not the most expensive I have had.

I have a friend with some type of diabetes and tequila is the only hard liquor he can drink for whatever reason.

Tequila is the first thing I ever got seriously drunk from when I was 15. We stole it out of my friend's stepdad's liquor cabinet. We didn't know anything about salt and limes with it and just poured it into glasses at room temperature and slugged it back.

We drank an entire huge bottle and I've never been able to drink it again.
 
OMG TRES GENERACIONAS!!!!!! The best least famous tequila. I superhumanly drank a half bottle of this by a campfire in Cuyamaca because of how smooth it was. I'm more of a beer guy but I keep this in my cabinet when I need to ruin an evening, I've probably had about 2 shots of it lol and would say that bottle of Tres Generacionas is a third of the price of this bottle and more smooth.

My Mexican friend Augie introduced me to Tres Generaciones years ago. Been my first choice ever since. It is super smooth, with the perfect balance of smokiness and sweetness underneath. Best way to drink is just straight. I gave a bottle to my brother in law once, and tried to teach him the proper way. Caught that motherfucker making it into margaritas a few days later.

Anejo should always be straight and sipped, not shot! From now on, give him bottles of Boone's farm until he learns better!
 
I've tried different kinds of tequila, but all it does is make me more dehydrated than most other alcohol, causing me to get constipated in the morning. It also skips the being drunk part and goes directly into a hangover. Rum I'm not sure on yet, gin seems ok
 
I have "lost time" three times in my 50 years on this planet. Once while having surgery. And twice after drinking tequila. That, in addition to it tasting like old kerosene to me means I steer far clear of the stuff. For years, I could tolerate tequila if it was mixed with something (margarita, etc...). Then I went to dinner one cinco de mayo and had a couple of (weak) margarita's and got violently ill. So now I just completely avoid the stuff.
 
Once i discovered the drinkable tequilas outside lime/salt shots of patron and jose cuervo my mind was blown. They can be so good and will always make your night better

I tried Tequila once and I thought it was terrible. Then again, I'm not really a drinker and if I ever do drink it's usually fruity drinks or wine for me.
 
I don't know why but Tequila fucks me up beyond belief. As soon as someone shouts "TEQUILA GUYS COME HERE" the night's done for me.
 
I do, unfortunately it's almost impossible to find proper tequila in Pubs around here
 
All ethanol is the same and works the same, so have the one you enjoy the taste of.

It's really that simple.
 
Whenever I'm feeling real nasty I'll grab the Mezcal. But I like to drink with the seasons so to speak so like Tequila doesn't taste right unless its summer imo.
 
I like good tequila, unlike other liquors like Vodka and most Whiskeys where the cheaper stuff isn't too bad, tequila needs to be high quality or I black the hell out. Last time I drank cheap tequila I woke up wearing a dress with toothpastes all over my face and dicks drawn all over my arms. Never again Jose'.

I don't drink much, unfortunately, but I've dabbled in some Sambuca, and Pink Rubarb Rum.
