I notice no one in the previous besides Jack, that has been on past seasons. And he's with a chick this time around, I guess he's changed a lot. Wonder how their going to top the past three seasons? Presidential assisination in season one, nuclear bomb in season two, super bio weapon virus in season three. Hmm ... what kind of shit will keep us on edge for seasdn four? Hopefully Elisha Cuthbert nude huh? :D

Of course 24 will kick ass.

I am skeptical of not having people like Tony or Michelle back. Sometimes a cast shakeup is a desperate, weak measure, and sometimes it's needed to keep a show fresh and unpredictable. I think this season of 24 will be the latter.

For example, after mulling it around for a bit, I'm glad Palmer's not around as President anymore. He just became such a pansy.

I'm not expecting much honestly. Season 3 was mostly disappointing, and in that New York Times article a couple weeks back Joel Surnow admitted that they're creating the storylines on the fly this year. That does not fill me with confidence.

That's what they've always done.

I thought Season 3 was pretty good, especially the first half with the salazars. Honestly, they almost split the seasons in two halves.

Tony and Michelle will be back later in the season...

Season 4 starts in January with a 2 hour season premiere. I think it airs pretty much uninterrupted, which is nice.

I hope Season 4 doesn't suck. Season 3 had some good points, or parts where it looked like it was going to improve greatly, but never did. I still think Season 1 is the best.

I hope Elisha Cuthbert is not in it. She's nice to look at but that's also the only reason she was in season 2 and 3. Her role in season 3 was particularly ridiculous.

They built up this huge brand for the past 3 years, now they're cutting payroll and trying to sell the "24" brand alone, with only the original main character. I'm expecting a huge bomb bomb! I sure hope so anyway, so my friend will finally SHUT THE FUCK UP about everything and ANYTHING 24 related. Jesus fuck...I'd kill Keifer Sutherland myself if it meant shutting him up.

Who would you bring back that isn't dead or incapacitated in some way? Michelle perhaps but that's about it. Hell, even Jack should be in jail.

1>3>2. FACT.

Season 4 starts in 20 Days (Woo!) with a two hour premiere on January 2nd. There is then a brand new episode the very next day, three weeks from today.

Along with the return of Lost and two hours of Alias on Wednesday...Best Week of TV EVER.

Oh...and it airs ENTIRELY uninterrupted. Same with Alias. No hiatuses.

I'll spoil tag this for anyone that *hasn't* seen the new trailers:

In the trailer they show a character from Season 3. Senator whatshisface that was going to blackmail Palmer regarding Millikan's (sp?) death is shown and is referred to as Mr. President. I wonder how all that crap played out with Sherry dying and Wayne and whether or not they'll bridge the gap between Season 3 and 4. Or perhaps my memory is so hazy they actually tied up those loose ends.

My guess is that they won't tie any of that crap up, or if they do, it'll be later in the season.
