Good price. I ended up spending $135 for the SanDisk 1 Gig Duo at a local camera store here in west Seattle, which I'm happy with. I was looking at Sony's cards but I just don't see the benefit of buying 'em when they're marked up so freakin' high. A 1 gig card from Sony was almost the same price as a PSP. Ridiculous. :/

A Gig is great but I'm finding that I still need more space. I've already filled mine up by loading 7 episodes of South Park on it.

You do realize it is 1GB of storage in an amazingly small chip, right?

It's not as if the 1GB stick is the only flavor. Hell, the 32MB stick that came with the PSP is more than enough for games alone.

Not long probably. I'm using Smart Video Converter to convert anything PSPVideo9 won't convert to mpeg and then converting it to mp4 with PSPVideo9. Cool stuff.

What settings are you using for the conversion? I can fit 5 anime digisub episodes on my 512 meg memory stick (paid $60 for it), and the quality is very good. You should be able to fit a lot more on a 1 gig memory stick.

320x240/15fps/216kbps Mono/48kbps - the setting PSP Video 9 defaulted to. I guess I could do some tinkering with it though. What are you using?

I used the Anime (0-2 hours) setting. It shrunk a 180 MB episode to 88 MB.

Just compressed a 186 MB file down to 79.8 MB file and the quality was pretty darn good. I can sqeeze an entire season on this thing now.

I just got a free 1GB high speed CF card from Canon as part of the 20D campaign. Yay!

It sucks to be drowning in CF (I have 5GB worth of it) but not being able to find a 1GB MS Pro Duo.
