Live supports is nice, but it kind of seems like "why bother?" when Halo 2 is already out there.

Looked amazing. I could not access the console to 'ai_disable 0', as the AI seem to be turned off in the demo.

I liked Fur Fighters on Dreamcast better back in the day than I liked the Conker demo. I`ll skip it.

Actually its "taking the piss", or "lambasting"....he means parody in this case basically.


Dunno why you think its new though cockles, Matrix was in the N64 version, can't wait to see how it looks in this version though...maybe that's what he meant.

They did hint at a Lord of the Rings parody (i think we can all see where that would go) but i dunno, nothing has been said of extra single player stuff lately so i think its just a straight port content wise.




Anyway on topic, i actually got the play the demo, i thought it was OK, as most people have pointed out, the S-P-R part of the game wasnt really the best part, but it's nice and modular so it's easy to use for a demo, it was the platforming sections where conkers gameplay was spot on, elsewhere any shortcomings were made up by extremely good presentation.

I thought the demo sucked actually. I liked original game and am looking forward to the Xbox version, but the demo killed some of my enthusiasm toward its impending release. The graphics were not impressive for an Xbox game and the controls were sloppy. I hate to say it, but I think that Rare needs to put more time into this one. However, as someone said, the SPR parts were not that great in the first game, and were a poor choice to promote Conker, so I'll try not to judge the whole game based on this demo.

I really don't know why so many of you are impressed with the graphics. To me, it looks maybe twice as good as the N64 version, with some added effects here and there, and the framerate is terrible. I've seen screen shots of other parts of the game though and they look much better than this demo. Maybe the demo is from a much older build? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is the case.
