Why are people playing 6 out of 10 or 7 out of 10 games when there soooo many 10/10 games

so many people in this thread fell for this obvious engagement farming click bait shite :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Guilty.

The guys last three messages were creating shit post threads that he never responded to.

Have you seen DR3AM DR3AM reaction score? They guy is a taker. A pure reaction farmer. He's had almost 2800 reactions. Half of them are LOL reactions. He's given out just over 40.

I know this is a rage bait post from the OP, but I also know there are genuinely people out there who actually think this way. again, it's all about personal preference. it's just like food. some people like pizza and some like taco. as long as you're enjoying what you're getting, who cares?

just recently with the extraction shooter genre seeing a surge in popularity, mainly due to titles like Arc Raiders and to a lesser extent, Marathon, we also see Escape From Duckov, a cute looking single player asymmetrical PVE only indie game that was developed by 5 people, getting some surprise success. some call it a meme game, but it had sold 2 million copies on Steam now. it looks pretty fun while still preserving a lot of the core factors that made people like extraction shooters. hell, I'm probably going to pick it up eventually even thou I had tried both Arc Raiders and Marathon and don't plan on buying them any time soon.

it's all about personal preference and taste. remember, games are for playing. it implies there has to be a fun factor in there. if it's not fun to you, then it doesn't matter how good the game's reviews are or how popular it is. just play whatever that rewards you with fun and enjoy it.

Cause what you call 10/10 is typically 6 or 7 out of 10, I'll always put TLOU as an example because even the story is a nothing burger to me (compared to AW2, Xenoblade, etc) yet people say it's the best game ever or whatever, everyone has their own 10/10s.

I play what I like or want to play not once in my life have review scores ever been a factor on my game purchasing decisions.

So yeah maybe I have some "7 out of 10" games in my library but it's not like I would know that because I don't actively seek that information.

I'm looking at my friends list and people are wasting their time playing all these random games. I on the other hand have standards and only play perfect games. I'm not telling you what you should play but cmon, why are you not playing better game when time is so limited.
Don't even get me started on 5 out of 10 games. 8s and 9s I approve of.
because most of the time the mid-tier stuff is actually better than the 10 of 10 stuff.
examples lad
suda 51 games
and others.
