why can't Tyson Fury get in shape

Yeah even most ripped gym goers that focus on cardio and endurance would struggle in a 6 round boxing match, despite carrying much less weight and looking more capable.

You loose musle when you get rid of fat.

Getting rid of fat without getting rid of muscle takes alot of effort. That effort is probably better spent on being good at boxing.

He doesn't need to, he already has more stamina than any modern heavyweight except usyk.

More muscles don't always traduce in more stamina.

This.

Tyson regularly goes long distance running. He eats healthy (kind of anyway. Not sure I'd have a Coke zero for breakfast) and puts the time into training camps.

I'm well built and pretty cut, but I guarantee Tyson Fury could run further than me without breaking a sweat.

how effective would Tyson Fury be in a street fight out of curiosity..

he's a huge 6f9 280lb pro fighter, but wouldn't he be a easy target for groin shots

Ok, here is another question. What happened to Black Boxing Dominace? A White Heavy weight champion in the 80s was considered a fable, best left for Hollywood and Rocky.

A lot of the boxing champions comes from underprivileged background.
As black people come out of poverty you'll get less and less boxing champions from them.

Just look at all the boxing champions they almost all have in common a not so nice childhood.

You should go pick a fight with Tyson Fury and let us know.

Accident and emergency after the fight: one of the participants needs ice for his bruised testicles and the other one has a fractured
Nasals, Maxillae, Lacrimals, Zygomatics, Palatines, Inferior Nasal Conchae, Vomer and Mandible bones

Different genetics. Obviously he trains his ass off, but some people dont build muscle as fast or get chiseled doing so. Actually for his height Id say thats a more common thing to see than someone like Wilder because he is so tall, the genetics and amount of muscles you have to have to look like that at that height. Way harder than someone dwarfy like Conor McGregor who can do 10 push ups and already look buff. Plus he has natural strength so he doesnt go the extra mile to eat oat meals etc. Some people look like Olympic athletes and others like lumberjacks. Both are strong.

He could do the same for you except it's probably easier for him to kick you in the head

From my experience most street fights usually end up in close quarters or on the ground so a guy of that size and stamina could literally just lie on you and wait for you to tire and then pound your face

this whole idea that people have about people circling around like boxers in a street fight couldn't be further from the truth…if it doesn't end in the first 30 seconds your probably gonna end up cuddling with him on the ground

The bigger you are in combat sports, the less muscular you most likely will look. Obviously there are exceptions but this is usually how it is.

I've seen people hufflepuff when lifting plates from one side of the gym to another.

mussels for teh insta, cardio 4lief 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️

Very effective because he knows how to punch. Shape means nothing in a street fight. If you know how to punch, you know that all it takes is a hard punch to the chin and your opponent is out cold. That's it. One punch and it's over.

Yeah, you could try kicking him in the bollocks, but you bett hope you kick him hard enough for him to go down, and/or you're quicker than his punch. Both unlikely.

Tyson also comes from a fighting background. Guaranteed he's been in bare knuckle, no rules street fights many times. He's not going to go down to a cheap shot in the nuts.

He doesn't do it because he doesn't need to, he's the best atm the way he is. More interesting question is, would he be even harder to beat if he turned that fat into muscle ?

I don't know.

That's from 2020 but he looks like he's in great shape in this match. He's not CUT, but like, he's athletic as hell and has all the muscle.

How to say you know noting about athletics without saying you know nothing about athletics lol

EDIT: "Demigod of Troll Threads"

Do you not remember this guy?

He's annoying as fuck.

The guy is a gypsy, as part of their culture they bare knuckle fight in the street to settle disputes and will usually shake hands afterwards. There's a reason Wilder couldn't keep him down, he's built differently.

Anyone remember Rulon Gardner? Won gold at the 2000 Olympics in wrestling against Aleksandr Karelin, who hadn't given up a point is six years. It isn't always about physical appearance, Gardner was the son of a farmer and attributed his strength to the physical labor from growing up on a dairy farm.

They were tied, Karelin got a penalty point from an illegal grab switch.
Still impressive though but it's not like he won on merit.

Ask him to his face I dare you.
I would, but it wouldnt matter, as i'm the same shape :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Honestly though and watching the bloke for ages, you could actually ask that and I highly doubt you'd get punched, he'd just answer

If you asked 'why you fat, i'd beat you', you'd die.

Lol. You just asking why he doesn't look like a fitness model. Bro guy is a super athlete.

Also, that extra weight will require less energy than if it were muscles. But that extra weight will help in general, power, leaning in clinch.
